The drive from East Aurora to Olean does not have a lot of great places to stop for a bite. I just discovered a good one though. Friends told us about Legends and we were in the area so we HAD to stop in. Glad we did ! Wednesday is Burger Day with discounts so that is what we tried. Note that REAL Chicken Breast may be subbed here. That is what my wife tried with mushrooms etc. My choice was the burger with bacon, egg, and tomato. I stop at Legends a few times a month for a beer and pizza or a burger. There are no drafts, and they don't clutter the place up with every weird beer available. The food is typical bar food, and it seems to be prepared by people who care. It's priced appropriately, too. Maybe burgers not from frozen, what with all the local beef available. If they have clams with garlic butter as a daily special, don't pass this up! Perfectly steamed and plated, this is stuff I dream about! Winnie the bartender will adjust the music to your taste, a show of hospitality I really appreciated. Lots of to-go orders went out the door while we were there. Highly recommend the Friday fish fry.
