Coughlans is definitely the sports bar/tavern for those who wish to sit down and watch a game with friends or even family. It's a comfortably small bar with extremely friendly bartenders and frequent visitors. Drinks are at a good price and they even offer popcorn in the corner for those who may need a little snack in between their sips of beer.. You'll typically find mostly older locals here and some college students on the weekends.
Coughlans is a great sports bar/ tavern/ Irish pub. It is where people meet for many reasons in Fredonia. The owners are a group of locals having grown up in the area so there is also a family atmosphere to the pub. This place boasts one of the best St. Patrick Day Celebrations in the area. There is no food on the premise but the bar tenders allow you to bring food in. It was St. Patrick’s Day, in an Irish Pub, so of course crazy busy.My friend and I had the Corn beef and Cabbage dinner, and it was absolutely delicious, very flavorful. Which is not always easy to do when you are preparing mass quantities.Kudos to the Chef and Coughlan Family, Well done
