Maninos has now changed its name, It is called Pantano's. They have several other Bagel/sandwich shops. I like it . I have only had the bagels there but I hear their sandwiches are very good. I still like Bagel Cafe in Oceanside and in Baldwin as my 2 favorite Bagel places with ALWAYS Great bagels.
The everything bagel , toasted with cream cheese ? was sooo delicious. The store is clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. Can't wait til my next NY visit to return to Mannino's.
Let me start off by saying the bagels are good here. However, the service for me was terrible. I walked into the store and I was the only on the line. There were 4 employees behind the counter. I was standing for maybe 5 minutes. No one said are you being helped. Or I’ll be with you in a minute. Nothing. I stood around until finally I said 4 of you and no one could help me and I walked out. Very sad that I was treated this way. Hope it was an off day. But I won’t be going...
