The flavors of the food are mouth watering. The personnel seems friendly, but they seem to be MIA at times. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it was their off day, but while they weren't as busy, we still had to wait quite a bit for our server. This brings me to my point that the wait staff might be more attentive if gratuity was't automatically added. We had a great experience! Servers Tony and Fausto were great and very kind. Food was excellent and drinks were strong and tasteful. We had oysters, calamari, the snapper and a papi don’t go seafood boil. Would highly recommend!! The owner stopped by our table and we had a lovely conversation with him as well. Music is not too loud and a great level where you can still enjoy the music and not have to shout while having a conversation

Puerto plata on the Water is amazing. Tony and Fausto were our waitresses and they were so attentive. Me and my husband didn’t have to wait for anything because both of them were always around making sure we had everything we wanted.
