“Grateful, with my friends for giving me the opportunity to meet and share with them in such a beautiful place, on the first floor enjoy the dance atmosphere with delicious food and drinks ideal for birthday celebrations and on the second floor enjoy with family in the same way celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, marriage proposals, etc.“
“Early March my and wife and I held a baby shower there. They were extremely accommodating with us and our guest. They also were very friendly and it worked out very well. We had families and most of the ladies at the tables and we had filled the bar with our drinkers and younger crowd.Music was good/ food was good / service was great! Anne was such a great manager worked hand in hand with our coordinator to make that day such a great experience.Overall 10/10 would highly recommend your next event there.“
“My nonprofit organization had a sports trivia night in their private room on their second floor. It was perfect. Equipment for the DJ already there. A projector with a screen to display the scoreboard. Service was excellent. Food was great. Atmosphere was incredible. Drinks were fantastic. Highly recommend holding events in their private room. I will have more events there.“
“First lesson with John Gorman and he fully diagnosed the biggest flaw in my swing and focused on that without overcomplicating it. Had my swing looking much better and felt more comfortable within one hour. First instructor who has made me want regular lessons and I will certainly book with him again.“
“First time visit, had the burger with sweet potato fries, the burger was delicious! Sat at the bar and had a mexician coffee martini and all I can say is "can I have another"Would definitely go back but later in the afternoon when there are not so many families there.“
“Daysi was the perfect host. She was very attentive and friendly. This was my first visit to Bless up and it was a great experience. Food is good, atmosphere is chill and the happy hour hits every time. I'm going to post my review on tiktokDietary restrictions: Seafood allergies“
“Very fast pizza spot. The two Sicilian pieces I got were chicken broccoli and vodka sausage. Although I enjoyed the vodka sausage a lot, I did not find the chicken broccoli as good mainly due to the broccoli (which I had not tried on pizza before). It definitely added a weird texture and was not super flavorful so I did not find it to be as tasteful. The vodka sausage was amazing and really felt like I was eating pasta on a pizza“
“I love this place. I went for brunch with a couple friends and got the bottomless Mimosa option. Drinks were flowing, food was delicious, and the service was phenomenal. I still recommend the tres leches french toast. Don't forget to mix your mimosa flavors like cranberry and pineapple. I recommend for a weekend brunch.“
“Update: ive had 1000 vodka pizzas and penne a la karens since my last review - still delicious. Tried the chicken marsala - YUM. Picture doesn't do it justice imo. I also tried the lasagna and I didn't love it I thought it just needed something more. Overall still obsessed with this place!!!“
“I have been here twice and both times I had an amazing time! The food here is great! I have had the brisket sandwich, the steak tidbit sandwich and the French dip sandwich, all comes with French fried that are so deliciously yummy as well. I will most definitely be coming back and trying out the rest of the menu! Stay tuned for more!“
“A warm inviting Irish bar with- surprise! A beautiful stage set up with wonderful sound man and of course-Sunday nights the treat is seeing legendary music promoter FRANK WOOD work his magic.Another surprise - the bar regulars actually come to the back room to listen to the music! Friendly crowd , nice bartenders, generous drinks! Easily accessible from R train- come visit this gem of a bar!“
“Sports bar located in Concourse Village in southwest Bronx, 300 meters from Yankee Stadium. It's a popular place to gather before New York Yankees home games, where fans can eat and drink before heading to the stadium or they can watch the game on the many screens. Its address is 836 River Avenue Bronx in New York.“
“Place is very cool spot, Staff are very cool, Everytime we go it’s full house food is great,Best spot to watch all the UFC events etc, if you're looking for a cozy sports bar in Astoria, Murphy's is the place to be. Highly recommended!“
“We arrived and were seated immediately. The servers were professional and courteous. They answered questions and were patient while we decided. The appetizer and the food came quickly but not unreasonably so. They seemed to have the timing down. We had fish tacos which were good, but not exceptional. I had a steak which was delicious and cooked as ordered. The twice baked potato was so so. It didn't match the quality of my steak or vegetables. My wife had a simple beet salad which h she enjoyed. Bill came quickly when requested. We will return again.“
“Dakota was amazing! Very attentive and friendly. She was also helpful to all my questions. Def coming back here. great atmosphere especially when you walk in :) then when you sit! everyone is so nice it’s quiet i was able to have a conversation w my boyfriend. the food was great too :D i had to take it home “
“I absolutely love this place! my parents are in town and what better way to celebrate them and Good Friday than by bringing them to Barriles. Food is always delicious, drinks are the best and the customer service they provide is top notch. No matter the day of the week, time of day, the staff is always professional, attentive and like family. By the way, they have the best margaritas…I had the passion fruit one with Don Julio!“
“Was there Monday for happy hour. Buy one get one free appetizers is a great deal, can't take leftovers with you, understandable. The Ahi tuna and fish tacos were large portions and delicious. Johanna the bartender was friendly and attentive. The gentleman (dougie?) who came on after her I can not say the same about, he was rude and unfriendly and talked poorly about the previous bartender and a waitress in front of customers.“
“Perfect place to watch the Yankees game if you are not at Yankee stadium. The Ambience is Yankee team friendly, I almost thought I was in the stadium. Great food and amazing environment and extraordinary service...Definitely looking forward to coming back here“
“Stumbled in here on a Thursday night, unfamiliar to the area but super happy we came here! Christian took really good care of us and he was such good vibes the whole night. Had so much fun and would definitely consider trekking it out from Queens to come back!“
“Best bar in New York! Good crowd and the absolute best staff. Mama Donna definitely makes this place feel like a home, than just your average bar. Great bartenders with a wide selection, always hosting fun events, and they show every major sporting event! I love this place and I hope it’s around forever!“
“My partner and I were looking for a place to have a good beer and listen to good live music and we found this great place one block from the metro line 7 station. We were lucky at The Wild Goose, we found excellent beers at good price, friendly atmosphere and attention to details, a clean and warm place to spend our night. We hope to return during our vacation in New York“
“Small and cozy pub that’s a great place to watch the game, especially if the Buffalo Bills are playing. They recently upgraded their TV set up so every nook and cranny of the place can get a view of whatever is on. Also, the Guinness pour is great here all the way down to giving you an actual Guinness glass.“
“My favorite bar in the Upper East Side! The female and male servers are the best! The food, especially the chicken and tots, tastes so good! It's never too busy, and they always play great music! I always come here with my coworkers. Love this place!“
“We really love this place. Awesome setup for watching sports and really yummy bar food. I will say that this would be a 4 star review if it weren’t for Marissa and Vinny. Marissa is seriously the best server of all time. Vinny (bartender) is really nice about accommodating different sports games on different parts of the bar and making everyone happy. We only come on the days when they’re working.“
“Wow , very nice place . You walk in and the lighting and setup is beautiful . The bar area has all the bottle lit up , the walls have great artwork and as you walk further back there's a little lounge seating with a dart board. But wait there's more , now you open the door in the back and there's a huge backyard setup as a lounge with beautiful fire lamps for warmth , there's couches and a pool table , and they offer hookah service . Can't forget the cleanest bar bathrooms I ever seen .Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs in sight“
“when we got to the front door of this place, the bartender came out and opened the door to welcome us. We were just going to stay for one drink, but we stayed much longer. Everybody was so friendly, and the drinks are really really generous. what a great dive bar!“
“The fries where really good and the perfect texture, the burger was was juicy and the drinks where so tasty! The bartenders and servers where all very kind and attentive and always checking in on us which was appreciated. The restaurant itself has a bit of a upscale country theme going and "Christmas in the summer" themed decorations which is cute and lots of televisions to watch sports or news.“
“I was really impressed by the menu here, both food and drinks. It's a creative and unique take to what would normally be bar food. Our server was so sweet and accommodating. The place is somewhat small so I recommend reservations! We will definitely be back. Looking forward to spending nicer weather evenings in the covered outdoor space.“
“Terrific Place--Great Bartender Neil and Great Patrons--Love Their Guinness Tap. Now I am Over 70 And They are kind To ME. 50 Years Ago I went To This Tavern. Still Amazing. The Bartenders, and Patrons and The Owner--5-Stars For ME and I Hope to Return-Sadly I Live in a Part of Queens That Has NO-Place like McGuinness's Bar.“
“This is by far one of the chillest spots I've been to in Sunnyside in a long time. I can't believe I used to walk past this place and never went in. We strolled in on a brisk Saturday night. We got lucky because karokee is held there on Saturdays. If you're with a big group, I recommend sitting in the front area because there is a big table. The big table is right next to the bar, which is perfect. The price for the night was only like $50 and was way cheaper than other bars I've been to in the past few years. The bartenders were extremely nice. The drinks were pretty strong, and wow, the green tea shots were delicious. ::bathroom alert:: This place has two stalls in the women's bathroom. Only 3 people can fit in the bathroom at once. The sink is in the corner and super tiny. You may have to wait outside the door instead of in the bathroom because everyone is friendly in the bathroom when they are drunk. Unfortunately, there isn't any food at this bar. But the good news is that there was a taco truck right outside. You're able to bring the food into the bar, which is a huge plus. But damn those tacos are delicious. This is definitely a great place to come with a group or to come with a date if you're on a budget.“
“Great dive bar right next to the 30th St subway stop. When my friends and I noticed they had $3 PBRs, we were sold. Bartender also gave us a buyback on our 3rd beer! Too bad they didn't serve any food though. Very mixed crowd of all ages. They have bands on weekends sometimes and I noticed they had a sign indicating live Bluegrass Sundays. If they ever got a jukebox that only played Irish and bluegrass music, then I would give them 5 stars. But, had to take away a star for the crappy music some people were playing on the jukebox.“
“Unexpected visit and I was very pleased. My friend and I were welcomed, immediately. The waitress was very attentive and informative. I had the grilled chicken wrap, which was very delicious. Overall their menu, is affordable. Can’t wait to go back!“
“Love this beautiful restaurant that gives sexy upscale, Amazon vibes. The greenery decor and black wall were stunning. It’s a large location with plenty of perfect seating available. It was raining when we visited so we sat inside for brunch from 1pm until 4pm. Our waitress was very pleasant friendly and tentative. Brunch is great with timed mimosas or sangrias included in their $34.99 deal. The portions I will say are small for sharing so order your own food.“
“The staff is friendly, the food is good and a sizable portion. The bar staff is always more than willing to give the customers the remote so they can change the channels to watch a game or show. They also approach the customers and ask if they would like a particular style of music to be played.“
“This is a nice neighborhood bar and restaurant and our server was so friendly and helpful. We got there early so we chatted with our server while selecting our drinks. My husband had Guinness Half and half, and I struggled because there were no sours on tap or in cans. I read the draft list more carefully and selected a Down East Cider after having a taste. It was a good choice with a strong apple flavor, a little carbonation and a medium sweetness The menu looked good and the specials sounded nice and next time we will give it a try. Several TV's for watching sports!“
“Great bar, hands Down!! I can come in having a trash of a day, look like an angry black guy, get 2 guiness and a the famous Jack Burger and leave like like a happy black guy... lol. Owners are great, chef is awesome and cooks GREAT!!! My kind of bar, wish you guys a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year“
“Always a great experience the wings are phenomenal and the service is amazing shout out to Jessica, Alexa, and Lee amazing Bartenders and the cooking staff is unbeatable. And the owners are welcoming and awesome. This place is a great find and will have my business for as long as they are open.“
“I had a great time at Chateau Yaffa. It's a cozy place with a nice mix of European and Mediterranean styles. The restaurant felt welcoming with its soft lights and ambiance. The food was amazing! They use fresh ingredients for their wide range of dishes. I had the Shish Kebab and Prime Ribeye Steak that smelled delicious and that was cooked perfectly. The service was also great. The staff were friendly, and helpful, and knew a lot about the menu and drinks. They helped me choose the best dishes and beer. For dessert, I had a Napoleon cake, which was the perfect end to the meal. Overall, this restaurant is fantastic. The food, atmosphere, and service are all top-notch. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves European and Mediterranean food.“
“The music was old school all the way. It was a birthday Celebration for my niece. The crowd is 40 and up. The barmaids were Amazing. It's not a really big place more like a neighborhood bar. They also give food so the make sure you eat and not be drunk in their place.“
“Great local spot with fantastic cocktails. There's a ton of bars in this area, so it's easy to overlook this place. My friend who lives in the area wanted to give it a try, so we decided to meet there. On a Friday night, the bar was crowded with locals. There isn't a ton of tables, but we were able to get a small one in the front. The lone bartender did an amazing job holding down the entire place. He came over to give suggestions and take our orders. I got the pornstar martini, but was scared it would be too sweet. I was wrong! It was one of the most balanced cocktails I've ever had. My husband loved his boulevardier. We wanted to stay for another round, but had dinner plans. (Only con: they don't serve food.) We will definitely be returning!“
“Really great place. Found this place when looking for a late night place to eat as we were picking someone up from JFK, and we are from out of town. The website said open to 4am. We made a reservation for 11 and were told the kitchen closes at midnight. We were running late they called us and let us get there at 11:40. They're was 12 of us! Great food, and friendly even though they were closing. Would definitely come back if in the area. The entire party enjoyed. Special shoutout to Eleanor, she was amazing“

“A group of us went to celebrate a birthday and the staff was so accommodating, from the DJ booth with the bday shout out to the sparkle candle & free shot from the bar. We were only there for 2 hrs & it was awesome. The DJ was blasting hits and the bartender, Lauren was so attentive. We didn't order any food but the service & atmosphere was great. The cocktails were great. Thank you for a great time, Lauren and team! ☺“
“Hosted my company holiday party here. Emblem is adorable neighborhood bar, warm cozy and friendly stafff! The service was great, space was welcoming and charming, music was great and tons of tv’s as well for sports lovers! Will definitely be “
“We had the VFW in Astoria booked for a celebration of life for my mom and brother. We waited and waited and no one showed up to let us in. A crowd began to gather and still no word from the VFW. My wife and sister searched the area and stumbled up The Local. They explained our situation and the bartender was more than accommodating. We were able to use the outside area which was quite spacious and bring our own food!!! All they asked was that we bought some drinks(which were amazing!!!) I will definitely visit the Local whenever I'm in Astoria!!!“
“I attended a baby shower here on Sunday afternoon. The entire experience was great. O'Neill's, although a sports bar/ restaurant is a great venue for a private party. The staff was attentive and the food was de-lish. I will definitely go back to have dinner.“
“I came to Parsons with my friend who lives in the neighborhood. I was very impressed with the service. Jase is a really good bartender. Her ability to craft any cocktail perfectly, no matter the request, is truly impressive. I would 100% recommend coming here.“
“Came here a couple times.Long wait times for tables on weekends since its a popular spot.Decent prices for food but kitchen closes super early for a late night spot.Staff are pretty niceTables are $8 a headGood spot for a chill night no dance floor or anything“
“I've been dining here since the new Yankee Stadium was built. Food is always great, service is exceptional and the atmosphere bis always chill. On this day, I was invited to a business lunch and I normally don't order the steak but I took a chance. Not a great choice. Steak was subpar. I always order my steak medium. It wasn't flavorful. Green Beans and Yukon Mashed Potatoes were ok. The problem was everything came out the kitchen lukewarm and not hot. I've had plenty of steak from different restaurants and this was probably the worst. Outside of this experience, I always enjoy my time there. I hope they see this review.Wheelchair accessibility: It's in Yankee Stadium and there's a ramp there for Wheelchair access.“
“So much better than the ones in the other Boroughs! They play music, but it's not so loud you can't hold a conversation. My servers were great and seemed to be happy to be there. There is a guy who walks around taking pictures, and eventually, the goal is to sell them to you! $20, which includes a nice glass frame or $15 each if you want to purchase all 5 or 6 poses. My son picked the photo he liked, and they threw in a free postcard with a different pose. No complaints about the food or drinks everything was wonderful. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood, lol.“
