The fine dining experience was VERY good. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. My husband’s food was delicious (beet salad and salmon entree). I ordered the lobster bisque which was delicious. I ordered the doc fish entree which was recommended by our server. Unfortunately, the fish had no taste and the sauce made me nauseous. The kale was not edible at all. It was too chewy. Overall, spending time with my husband, in a very nice venue with a very nice vibe, made the experience well worth it.Parking: There’s ample parking, for free, if you don’t want to pay for valet parking.

First visit to the Red Salt Room. Brunch on Sunday was OUTSTANDING! So many delicious selections. OUTSTANDING salad area and hot food. OUTSTANDING seafood bar shrimps, oysters, lobsters, clams oh my! Heaven. OUTSTANDING crepe and desserts. A must for every foodie out there. Beautiful Restaurant. Very expensive brunch but worth every dollar. Wonderful staff all around. Made us feel so at home like we’ve been coming here for years. And Vincent was our waiter. He was so much fun and made our first visit so pleasant.

The steak and risotto was 10/10. Fries a little odd but still good. Very dark and loud inside. Service was great and we sat down quick. The other side is the quieter side.

We had the most amazing time here, as always. Our server, Mary, was truly the best! She was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make sure my fiance had a fantastic birthday dinner!

So we went here on Sunday for the experience, what’s the hype? We had a 2pm reservation, first of all a kid $60 but what they had was fries and some overfried chicken strips that was hard , nothing else pretty much that a kid would eat . As for adults the food was almost done , it was cold , food really wasn’t great plus it’s like drinks was being monitored, and felt like we had to hussle and eat when we went to get dessert the door was closed and a server asked what’s the matter we were like are you done she said oh your waiter didn’t tell you last call , nope they didn’t she went and get a plate of what was left cake pops and donuts lol and it’s 140 for adults we barley ate $40 in food , terrible I’d not recommend ppl there maybe you have to go early , too expensive and food was not great you’d get a better treat at city island for the food they have I see ppl posting pics those things was barely there when we went to get food . So disappointed….,Note to owner since you responded and looked at your cctv footage please take a look at what was eaten and what was available,,, you talked about a wide array of desserts , desserts taken was for kids you saw that did you? Also what the server brought was only donuts and cake pops from your wide assortment. . The food was not worth it and yes we left around4.30 but what were we supposed to do swallow our food rather than chew? Your servers should of told us when the buffet needs since we got there 20mibd later

The restaurant is beautiful. The service was good, however, it took an hour and a half to get our food. The host was nice enough to bring us a complimentary appetizer for the inconvenience. Once we received our food, all was well.

Very nice evening. Our server was Mary so we knew we were in good hands. We started with the Clothesline Bacon. Hadn't had it for several visits and we missed it. Next I had the Caesar Salad while my wife enjoyed the Crab Cakes. My entree was the Double Cut Pork Chop. My wife had the Butternut Squash Risotto with Crab. As always, she loved it. Dessert was the Chocolate Flight. Thank you Mary, Jose Luis, JC and Edward for the making our evening so enjoyable.

Place was definitely over priced! Food was not good at all, the buffet didn't have a lot of options. Our waiter didn't tell us brunch/buffet was ending so we did not get dessert. A $140 hour er adult is a rip off, would never go there again. Our bill came up to $600 with 3 adults and 2 kids under 12 and we paid $60 for each kid. We could have done brunch 3 times somewhere else.

Unfortunately this was an epic fail! My expectations were shattered but the quality of the dishes. As soon as I cut into the octopus app it was going to be a long night. When I questioned the waiter on the preparation of the dish I was surprised how the dish was prepared. (Boiled then grilled=rubber char!). The rest of the meal was ehh! Not worth the $$$ better steak and seafood at capital grille!

My family had Sunday Brunch at the beautiful Garden City Hotel last week and it was phenomenal. We had no idea what to expect so when were told the brunch is outside in the lobby, we walked out into a wonderland of food. All the food looked so beautiful. My husband and I loved the lobster shrimp display. The cold salads were so delicious they even had grilled shrimp and salmon with a complete sushi boat station. Hot food items were also delicious. We had the ravioli, to die for salmon and lemon rosemary chicken. All so fantastic. Last but not least, the godly dessert station was over the top and the kids freaked when they saw the chocolate fountain (ps so did we as we are chocolate lovers). Your staff are all so awesome to, they went out of they're way to make sure we had a great time. Chef Angella was so gracious and nice showing us around the brunch and Jose was our waiter he was dynamite. My husband and I can’t get over that we never been to this brunch before until an associate told me I have to come see it myself to believe it. Can’t wait to come back again, going to try and get back there for Mother’s day.

We had a very nice evening at the RSR this past week. Our server was Mary, back from a well deserved vacation. As always, Mary provided impeccable service. Thank you Mary. Our dinner was delicious. My wife started with the Crab Cakes while I had the Caesar Salad. Her entree was the Chicken Milanese. I had the Double Cut Pork Chop. The side we shared was Grilled Asparagus. Dessert was the Chocolate Flight. Our wine was a Jadot Santenay. Of course Jose Luis on hand. It is such a pleasure dining at the RSR. Gracious professionalism describes it best. Thank you everyone at the RSR.

The service was attentive for the most part. Didn't care for the not asking though. My husband asked for sparkling water, I think they thought that meant we both wanted it. So they poured it for the both of us, whatever - I was going to finish my glass and ask for regular water. Before I could finish my glass they tried to pour more, but didn't ask if I wanted more. So I stopped the server mid-pour and they looked annoyed about it, and disappeared. Also with the bacon, we didn't finish it, 2 pieces left. I was going to ask to take the rest home, but before we could ask, the waiter already came over to to cut up each piece 1 for me, 1 for my husband. We ordered A LOT of food, mostly everything was good, but nothing was mind blowing that would make us want to go back. For that price point I expected more. Best thing for me was the sauce on the Seared Scallops. Hubby says his favorite was the Charcoal Grilled Octopus. Biggest disappointment was the Lobster Bisque. That was insanely watery to be a bisque. Should've called it Lobster Soup. The sauce on the Scallops was creamy, if the Bisque texture was like that would've been great. But we both agreed - overpriced for average food - one and done for us.

Love this place, food is always excellent, the filet mignon is our favorite. Ambiance is beautiful. Great selection of cocktails. Our last waiter, Teddy, was top notch. Absolutely recommend the Red Salt Room.
