This place gave me food poisoning twice. The only 2 times I've had it and the only 2 times I ate there many years apart. They do not practice enough food safety. There are all kinds of reports of poisoning from they're restaurants in many locations.

We have never been here before and read good reviews about this place. We asked the cashier if we order our food first or pay first and the cashier responded in a rude manner. I asked to speak to a manager and clearly there was a language barrier and he told me to leave. This was a waste of money. I don’t recommend.

I'm sorry but why are the reviews here so low? This is a staple of the mall. If you go to the mall and you have an appetite for a quick delicious bite then why would you not choose Sarku? Definitely not getting the love they deserve here, however anytime I'm at the mall or in the area and I want a nice hearty meal I'll stop by here. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the portions of the meat have gotten much smaller over the years. But this chicken / beef / shrimp teriyaki is absolutely delicious and super fresh. I'll always be a fan of Sarku.

Crowded and always busy. Smells like mall Japanese food. I would recommend going early. The food is okay, like others have said. Ask for extra sauce for flavor. This isn't restaurant quality, but it's very filling. Take it or leave it.

food is just mediocre, not great. Their most popular dish chicken teriyaki over rice has the burnt charred taste to it that people like but it is just okay. What truly turns me off about this place is its service. All the young men at the cash register are very very rude and cranky. I asked for noodles instead of rice with chicken teriyaki and the guy with glasses at the register just didn't seem to understand it. I said I want the noodle instead of rice, and he kept mumbling and told me "Extra charge okay? extra charge" Okay I answered then he literally threw the plastic plate and it landed right on top of the noodle (that were in a big noodle tray) and the guy who was serving next to him was laughing together. what kind of attitude is that to treat the customer? I understand they are busy most of the time inside the shopping mall but does that give them the right to treat customers like some piece of trash? I walked out and would never go back. They were always rude several years ago. Even with their nasty attitude, people will still come to get food anyway so I guess they will never change. Horrible customer service. I would give them 0 actually.

The service was bad. There is no ambiance since it's a food court. The food is greasy.Chicken teriyaki I ordered no vegetables and extra sauce. The chef read my order and still gave no sauce. He also gave less chicken than I hat everyone else was getting. Overall I would not recommend this place if you have an alternative option. However this place is cheap and fast.

It's probably my favorite restaurant in the food court by far. The chicken teriyaki is delicious, and portions are just right. The bento box is my go-to as it has a bit of everything I like from their menu. If you haven't tried the chicken teriyaki, then it's definitely worth at least a try. Highly recommend!
