Excellent customer service . I loved the food so much i ordered 3x the amount to go in family style portions . The food was very flavorful and not spicy. The palak paneer was so good . My favorite was the lamb curry. I always see them on door dash but now I know the location and will continue to order.. Staff were so kind and attentive .

Having desi Indian or Pakistanis restaurant in a mall cafeteria is absolutely unique in New York area. The food was hot and served with a fresh nan for which I had to wait few minutes more. Definitely recommend it for a good meal.

I've eaten here for years and never had any real complaints. But this last time was disappointing. The portion and flavor of chicken curry I got was good. But the sauce was more watery and thin than usual and the most disappointing was the naan. Normally that is my favorite part, but this time not only is the naan half the size but you can tell its from a package and not homemade. The old one you could tell was made fresh and cooked in the proper way and it was twice as big. If im paying $20 for an entree portion I at least expect the bread to be fresh and not pre packaged. Especially when I can spend a little more than half anywhere else in the food court for the same amount and food and it would include a drink.

There are many vendors at this food court. And along come many vegan options. Taste of India has plenty of plant based options. Personally, I chose the Potato Puff. A flavorful fried potato that's about the size of a bagel. It was light and melted in your mouth. If I'm ever in the area, I'll try their other options.
Their food is not like Indian not tasty at all

was offered a sample of their chicken , did not ask me if i had any allergies and did not mention AT ALL there were cashew nuts in the sample (very allergic)
Got a bad allergic reaction so had to leave the mall , as im walking out i let them know they should really start mentioning to people about any allergies and that there are nuts in their food ESPECIALLY when giving out samples
When i let them know the guy tried arguing with me for some reason.

If you LIKE Indian food, then you will definitely LIKE “A Taste of India.” I ordered the chicken masala,,eggplant, rice with a little lentil soup over the rice. It was a lot of food for me. It took two sittings to finish it. Also came with bread.
It tasted like a satisfying, healthy meal, delicious. When it comes to spice, I have a baby mouth. I have a low tolerance for anything too hot. The eggplant was a little spicy for me, but I still enjoyed it.
The staff friendly & helpful.
I will definitely be back next time I’m in the mall. I recommend “A Taste of India.”

The place looks well kept, the staff is friendly and the food looks fresh. The dish I bought had just the right amount of spice, enough so you notice but not overwhelming. The next time I find myself at Roosevelt Field mall, I would definitely go back.
