Another amazing dinner at King Bar. Nick and Teddy were exceptional and Patrick was a pleasure to speak with. Food presentation is always prepared beautifully. All of my party enjoyed their selections. Thank you. We will see you know.

I ordered the Caesar salad and added salmon. The salad came as an intact wedge of baby Romaine lettuce which was drenched in dressing. Not only did this overpower the fresh taste of the lettuce, it made the salad hard to eat because it was served on a salad sized plate next to a generous piece of seared salmon. I struggled to cut the lettuce on a crowded plate while trying to avoid the puddled dressing.

The restaurant is top tier, very attentive, the wait staff was pleasant. The shareable bread was the best I've had at any restaurant. This was our second visit and we will return for a third. The menu is a variety do delectable, you won't be disappointed at all.

The 12 oz Filet Mignon and crisp Hipster fries were magnificent, as always. Service was attentive and gracious. Another lovely dinner in the King Bar at the elegant Garden City Hotel.

The 12 oz Filet Mignon and crisp Hipster fries were exceptionally delicious. The maitre D was kind to allow my guest and I to sit at a table that was intended for four guests so that we could have a quieter, more private experience than if he had sat in the two-person table in the center of the venue that was originally offered. Venus was a very attentive, friendly server. We did not order dessert because the menu was too short and the options were too exotic to appeal to either my guest or I. The cappuccino was good but too small, with only a single shot.

I had the opportunity to attend a work lunch at King Bar with two colleagues, and I must say, it was another exceptional experience. The offerings were outstanding, with dishes such as the tuna tartar, watermelon feta salad, perfectly cooked steak frites, oysters, and the crab toast. Each dish was beautifully presented with great attention to detail. The dessert selection did not disappoint either. The bergamot pie was a delightful conclusion to our meal. Additionally, we had a special request for an Affogato, and I was impressed by how seamlessly the staff at King Bar accommodated our request. I must commend Moe, our server, for his impeccable service throughout the lunch. Michael, the manager, also made a point to personally check in with us. This is really the best place in town both in service and menu offerings!

The waiter staff were very good, everything came out as ordered. I thought that the menu was however a little odd and uninteresting, there were not many items that were appealing to me.

Food is always fantastic. On this visit the Chef came out to say hello and ask how meal was. Brittany, Nick and Ed were attentive as the staff always is. Tuna tartare is one of my favorites of anywhere I've had so I always have to get this. Please don't ever take off the menu Chef:) We also tried some of the newer items including the soft shell bao bun, the foie gras donuts and the feta watermelon salad. All dishes were fantastic. The pea flower mojito was “are you kidding me” kind of good! Thank you Garden City Hotel and David Burke for running such a great establishment. See you soon!

Ceaser salad: overwhelmed with too much dressing. The waiter attempted to memorize the order and forgot the peppercorn sauce we had ordered. He brought 2 other sauces. I asked for the requested peppercorn sauce, he never did and simply ignored the request, I asked 3 other people who seemed confused & failed to respond, 10 plus min later the waiter came to the table and 5 more min later we had the correct sauce. By this time the 80.00 steak was on the cold side. I find that restaurants in general have poor control of their staff. I worked in the business for 20 yrs. price does not equal quality these days. But the prices keep rising and portions and quality drop.

This was an TERRIBLE experience! The food was mediocre. The service was AWFUL!!!!! And prices outrages! We are New Yorkers and used to high prices these were NOT worth it! Many more restaurants within minutes way better value and way better service! Party of 5 walked out and said NOT coming back.

Went to dinner with my wife and good friends. Alex was our waiter, he was very pleasant and courteous. We ordered the escargot, the tuna, Tata, and a salad as appetizers. The bacon was a hit. Our dinner choice was the lamb chops, they were prepared to perfection. The Bread order is a MUST! We also ordered the Hamburger. Which was so Delicious. We also had a wonderful time speaking with Michael Casatelli the food and Beverage Manager, Loved his company and expertise. We will definitely go back very soon.

The highlight here is the waitstaff! Attentive, friendly & engaging without being obsequious or intrusive. The server who torched the signature bacon appetizer at our table was an outstanding young man and credit to the restaurant; the bacon itself is one of the loveliest things I have tasted. Two minor course corrections: be an elegant restaurant or be a sports bar; you can't be both... the 3 large TV's don't need to be tuned to ESPN during brunch. Also, when the hotel door is propped open allowing a 30° draft to pour into the restaurant, the hostess could stop scrolling long enough to take 10 steps and close it rather than waiting for a patron to do it.

John behind the bar is amazing and always treats me extremely well. The food is great and super fresh. My favorite is the truffle fries with a NY Strip for sure . Greatly crafted drinks and smooth service !! Thank you
