Good food but we will NEVER spend our money there again. Unfortunately, they have a horrible waitress that has ruined our experience on two separate visits. She is the worst waitress Ive EVER had. She was rude, short w us and acted bothered by even having to wait on us. She actually dropped our plates on our table, rolled her eyes several times and then sprayed the side of my boyfriend w windex when she carelessly cleaned the table next to us. Second visit was worse and I finally said, “you can smile.”
We were so shocked by her rudeness that I called and tried to talk to the owner, who I figured would want to know. Surprisingly, she was super short and didn’t even apologies for the terrible service. No wonder the staff feels comfortable acting unprofessional, since the manager didn’t seem to care. I will avoid this place and continue to share my experience with family and friends. I will also TAKE THEM OFF our recommendation list for our air B&B.

Wonderful family-run local business with a simple but delicious menu. We had apps and sandwiches that were so filling no room for dessert!

We were so incredibly happy with the quality of the food and the great service we received at Mio Cafe. First time there by chance and looking forward to going back.

Honestly, order anything because it's going to be amazing. They have the best french toast I've ever had. Incredible burger, too.

Who has ever heard of a tiny loaf of sweetbread costing $25?

This is our favorite restaurant in the area. The Quality of the food there is better than my neighborhood in Brooklyn. The waitresses are great.

A little on the pricey side, but everything tastes amazing! The home fries are absolutely packed with flavor, probably the best I’ve ever had. My favorite was the sourdough grilled cheese, perfectly crispy and cheesy. And the banana French toast are a must, my dad orders them every time he comes, and they never disappoint. Everything not only tastes great but looks just as good!

Everything was tasty and delicious. Even though I'm gluten and dairy free, I didn't feel deprived or feel like I was missing out at all. Service was friendly and accommodating.

Restaurantji Recommends
I always enjoy Cafe Mio.... until the check comes. The whole restaurant industry is over priced and Café Mio jumped into the deep end of the pool with the rest of them. On the up side though, the food is tasty and the staff is nice. Things to note; weekends are busy so plan to get there early or it's the bar stool for you. Make sure to beat the Church crowd on Sundays. No wifi and terrible cellular service in the area, especially T-Mobile customers, so plan on seeing Millennials having emotional breakdowns while eating their eggs. When your done be sure to drive around the corner to watch the skydivers land at the airport behind the restaurant. I highly recommend.
