Be very careful coming here. If you are coming from I-84 exit-28. Take route-208 all the way to Philies Bridge Rd, then make a left. About 2 miles down, make another left on Dusinbere Rd. About 0.5 miles, you'll make a right on Steve's Lane.
When you are on Route-28, do not turn left on Route-44 if your GPS tells you to.
Overnight parking is available.
I had no issues with the staff.
Unloaded very quickly
I own and operate a small Veteran owned pizzeria in Poughkeepsie, NY. We specialize in Detroit pizza and have been searching for a supplier of Superman ice cream for some time now. I finally got in touch with Perry’s who I know makes this flavor and they directed me to Gillette Creamery, that was about 2-3 weeks ago. I was put in touch with Tom, one of their sales reps and he seemed very pleasant and eager over the phone to meet and speak with me about opening up an account. He made an appointment to stop by the pizzeria for a Monday and he just never showed. I left several voicemails after that and never heard back from him. So i called and left emails with the company over the next week or so trying to get in touch with someone to try and set an account up. It was the same thing every time, they’d send me to a sales reps voicemail, then I’d never hear back from anyone. Finally someone told me Tom was on vacation now and I was put in touch with a guy by the name of Anthony, who told me there was an 8-10 case minimum and he would see if they’d be willing to waive that considering they were in my area all the time. Tom also mentioned to me over the phone that they had an account with a restaurant that just ordered two pies every week. Clearly not meeting the case minimum. Anthony spoke with me and said he’d get back to me the following morning, he didn’t and so I called again and spoke with a man in customer service who again said he’d take my information down and get in touch with someone to have them reach out to me. Right after that Anthony responded to a text from me saying he had spoken to the owner of the company and was told that they have a cash and carry at their location and if I wanted to order i’d be more than welcomed to come pick it up. This company gave me the run around for 2-3 weeks only to tell me that i’d have to come pick up the product because there was a case minimum i couldn’t meet. This type of business is exactly whats wrong with distribution in the service industry. A small local restaurant isn’t going to need 10 cases of ice cream. They obviously do not work with the small businesses. They should make that known on their site, or train their sales reps to let people know that right off the bat. “Hey, just so you know we have an 8-10 case minimum, and if you can’t meet that we have a cash and carry you’re more than welcomed to use.” This “you need us” attitude from distributors is the most frustrating thing to deal with in the hospitality world. I was lied to, mislead, and calls dodged over and over again and it was not appreciated.

Nice friendly
If google has zero stars I would’ve gave it to these Unprofessional company , very rude customer service , Tom the sale manger makes u feel that his freezer worth $100,000 . For a new business that people need to know about , shouldn’t be ordering 3k worth of stuff (still building his name ) and the funny part is they threat u and say we coming to take our freezer , horrible customer Seevice , taking out all ur products from out gas stations , going somewhere else that’s respect there customers
There are companies that appreciate your business...Gillette is NOT one of them. I am NOT a small account. After 3 seasons and averaging 30 boxes ($600) a week I was dropped as a client after placing a single complaint about a new delivery driver. The driver (Sal) was unbelievably unprofessional, incredibly rude and extraordinarily impatient. On this occasion he left dozens of boxes of ice cream in the driveway in the pouring rain and after I asked him politely to at least place them under cover as I relayed them in to the freezer he ignored me and continued to unload the delivery in the driveway. He then told me that it's not his job and for me to move them but first demanded payment so he could leave. He arrived an hour late with the delivery in the first place and then threatened me with making me last on his delivery route in the future if I didn't stop moving the boxes he left in the rain and pay him so he can leave because he was late to his next delivery. I then went inside to get his payment and heard him cursing me to my 14 year old daughter who was in the driveway at the time. I came out a minute later to my daughter telling me what he said and I told him I would take this complaint to his superiors. Keep in mind, ice cream is perishable and I was moving as quickly as possible so that my product was not ruined-all of this happened in less than 25 minutes.I immediately called my sales rep of 3 years (Tom) who said he would take the complaint up the ladder. After a week of no response I called Tom again and was told simply there is nothing he could do and that it was "my word against his." Why would I lie? So, still hoping we could address the situation professionally, I wrote an email to the main office. Now it is 13 days since the incident and still no reply until I called in to place my order to wit I was told by Rich Gillette (Owner) that I was no longer a client and was being dropped because my account was a liability. I was given absolutely no opportunity to explain what happened and given no notice of my company being dropped and offered no means of rectification. I can not emphasize enough how much of a negative impact this will have on the next week of business since I was obviously counting on this inventory for my store. They could have switched drivers, I even offered to meet another driver on the road. Luckily I have also been dealing with Dingman's Dairy for years and they have ALWAYS gone above and beyond for me. They have scheduled extra deliveries on busy weeks and my Sales Rep Valerie even loaded up her own car last week to bring me some emergency inventory. That is a company that appreciates their clients. I would suggest you take your business there. Highly competitive with everything Gillette offers, many items are far cheaper. I can not overstate how incredibly disappointed I am. Don't let this happen to you.
