My all time favorite restaurant! Consistently excellent, we have been coming here for 35 years and have never once had a bad meal. Authentic German specialties are out of this world, everything is made with the finest ingredients and is very reasonably priced. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is charming in this wonderful family owned restaurant! No other restaurant even comes close!
My only issue is that it is closed Monday and Tuesday. Food is awesome. Just a nice a place.

I feel that the food here is a bit overrated. The Reuben strudel appetizer would be much more appealing as small streudel rolls vs a large slice of streudel. It should feel like an appetizer, and it would be much more pleasant to eat. The potato pancakes, could use a makeover. They aren't very good, and unlike everything else, the serving size is tiny. It's always extremely crowded, so having a nice quiet dinner out isn't an option. There were kids running around too...great for families I suppose; but not so much for couples. My chicken schnitzel was perfectly crisp, tender and delicious. Spaetzel was delicious too. The red cabbage was brown and unappetizing, seemed a bit older or overcooked. It was a LOT of food. I can see why they are popular, and have such a thriving business.

Me and my husband drove about an hour to get to this place and they said they stopped taking walk in customers 4 minutes before we arrived. I told them we had just driven almost an hour to get there and the lady just stared at us and would not seat us. Absolutely unacceptable I can NOT believe that. I will never be coming here again.
