A real hidden gem. They are putting out high quality stuff. The green N/A drink I had was so good I had to have a few! This place is getting added to our restaurant rotation.

1000/10!! So so good. Our favorites were the chicken, croquettes and the olive oil cake. Will find a way to come back to the area just to have dinner here again. Everything was so fresh and delicious! We left not a crumb

As a Brazilian, I can say for sure it’s not authentic Brazilian food, but more like a fusion between Brazilian and Spanish/ American. The environment is very nice and the waitress are very friendly and welcoming. They took their time to explain the menu and options available. We ordered coxinha( chicken crocket) and that was my favorite. It was warm and fresh, I love it. For dinner we ordered the moqueca and feijoada. Both was a very small portion with not too much flavors and the feijoada really disappointed me because there’s no meat, just two little pieces of fat( feijoada is like a soup of black beans cooked with pork) and came with a slice of avocado( that definitely it’s not how we make feijoada). The drinks was good and we was expecting more options of desserts. Overall we enjoy it, but there’s room for improvement.

Absolutely phenomenal. We went for a belated Valentine's Day celebration and it felt so special. The vibe is amazing, the food wonderful. Loved the plentiful vegan options!

5* all around. what a lovely place and so much nicer than the website photos suggest. friendly and welcoming staff (thanks, Matt!). great atmosphere. we had beets and soup of the day to start, and a fish special and steak, and everything was very good. expensive, we paid over $100 e/a including tax and tip. they get you on the extras, beer is $10, wine $16 and a side of broccolini $16. even so, a welcome addition to our regular rotation of restaurants to come back to...

We had an amazing meal here with friends. Between the seven us, we tried nearly every dish on the menu, with everyone raving over the flavorful apps and dinner choices we shared. We enjoyed a mix of cocktails and wines/beer to pair with our dishes and were just as impressed with the drink selections. We sat upstairs, and loved the vibe/lighting and the fact that it also had a nice lounge area. Our server was very thoughtful and attentive and service was perfectly paced. We can't wait to come back!

If I could give this place a higher rating I would. Everything from start to finish was exquisite and fresh and just a pure delight! Our server was pleasant and informative and a pleasure to conversate with. Our cocktails were refreshing and precise. We tried a few appetizers and every one was a homerun. The tempura sweet potatoes and roasted carrots have been on my mind for a week now. I got the short rib tagatelle and my only complaint was there wasn't more! My fiancée grabbed the kale ceaser which she also enjoyed! Highly highly recommend!

Consistency is key and Pitanga delivers every time with excellent food and an extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. The inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect place to dine alone as I have done on occasion or sharing a wonderful dining experience with family and friends. The specials are well thought out and I’ve had some of the best soups that have been at different times vegan, vegetarian and full on cream.
I am a new comer to the New Paltz area and Pitanga North is by far my favorite dining spot.

Love this place. Our little town of Gardiner is so lucky to have this gem of a spot available to us. Owners are super sweet, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food and cocktails are top notch. If you're local, go. If you're from out of town, go.
