Love this place. Our little town of Gardiner is so lucky to have this gem of a spot available to us. Owners are super sweet, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food and cocktails are top notch. If you're local, go. If you're from out of town, go.

We first found this place in the Spring of this year and we're quickly won over, so much so that we try to go at least once a month. A tasty mix of Brazilian and American dishes.
Our go-to favs appetizers are the cheesy breads, beet salad and sweet potato tempura.
Can't go wrong with the whole chicken or the steak dishes - both work well to share between two people. If you're in the mood for a burger you can't go wrong with this one too.
Nice selection of cocktails, wines and drinks too.

SPECTACULAR. Showcases an expertly curated small menu with seasonal rotations. Everything is phenomenal. I had a short rib pasta dish and my date had the fish stew. I've already gone back three times for the same dish. Portion sizes were excellent. The ambiance of the space and hospitality of the staff is unbeatable. Whoever is in charge clearly knows what they are doing. A perfect addition to the Gardiner downtown.

Did not have a pleasant experience. We made a reservation and had to call back to add two people and were given attitude. This was mostly surprising because upon arrival (on a Monday night) there were only two tables filled. When our server Derek was taking drink orders, I asked to put an appetizer in and was told “I’m taking drink orders now.” I have never had any server in my life respond so rudely he could have prefaced that with an apology. We ended up leaving after our appetizers due to multiple reasons. One was the unwelcoming attitude of the staff. Another was that we had been there 45 mins without having our entree orders taken. The third was they were out of fish so were unable to make two dishes which is a big deal since they only offer 7 entrees. I asked if they had any daily special and they did not. I don’t own a restaurant but it seems that it would make sense to have something to offer as a replacement. I’m just very surprised a higher end restaurant like this would have such poor service.

I've been here a couple times and haven't been disappointed. A special shout out is deserved in regards to the restaurants ability to host an intimate dinner party in the upstairs area. A small group of 16 did a goodbye dinner and the staff went above and beyond to make the meal unforgettable. Derrick was a gem, super on top of everything and great with communicating. All the carefully curated details added to the experience, can we say personalized menus🤩 The food and drinks are the consistent draw for me, unique and flavorful. But the hospitality is what makes it more than just a restaurant- it's an experience. One that you can't pass up.

A truly exceptional dinning experience in this quaint town. Everything from service to the atmosphere and menu was outstanding. Our server Derick went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable so we could truly enjoy the evening. This restaurant is the second location originating out of Brooklyn. The restaurant itself was so eclectic but felt very purposeful. Everything and everyone has made this restaurant a unique and special place we want to visit again… and again.

We were so impressed with our dinner at Pitanga North! We visited from out of town and wanted to find a nice spot for a date night. Our server Derek was super welcoming, took great care of us and gave great menu suggestions. Food and cocktails came out quickly and all were DELICIOUS! Our favorites were the classic caipirinha and half chicken with green dressing. Tilefish was also lovely and flavorful. We will be back to try other dishes if we’re in town again!
