We arrived for our reservation. There was loud music outside almost like an event was happening. I asked if there was a private party. The hostess asked if we were here for the Enigma menu. We said yes. She said they were not serving that menu, instead they were serving the Altria menu. Why was this not noted when I was making the reservation? We did not eat there as it was too loud and not the food we wanted. Instead we had to scramble to find another place to eat. Very disappointing.
My husband and I stopped into the outlet food court and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and Margaritas brother who served us was friendly and welcoming. I had pernil, rice and pollo guisado. My husband had fried chicken, Mac and cheese, cabbage etc and we had nooo complaints. The food was great!! If it wasn’t an hour from where we live we would eat there often.

This place was great!! Homemade food that was delicious. As someone from the south we pride ourselves on cornbread and their’s didn’t disappoint. I also had the beef and cheese empanada with baked Mac and cheese. It was so good! My boyfriend, who needs to have gluten free, enjoyed the chicken stew with Spanish rice and the yams. Both meals were amazing!!

Very disappointed of the food. It was not as described at all. Also they only have one person serving food and making drinks. She was very kind yet service was slow due to person having to do it all. Food had no seasoning, we had to request salt to eat it. Just not good.
Excellent customer service! Explained the menu and even gave me and my family samples to try. Food is equally as good as their service. Wish they were closer to Syracuse but definitely would come out to Waterloo just for the food again!

Absolutely superb performance!! Chef E did her thing last minute order closing time kept it open for my family traveling back to Mass. Placed an order for 13 people and first shot got everything right went above and beyond stocked us up with sauces napkins and utensils. Food was cooked to perfection is so delicious and big quantity I want to definitely go back and try the rest of the menu. When I say best customer service I’ve had in a very long time thank you Chef E for everything we hope to see you in Mass. God bless you truly.

Absolutely fantastic. So glad we didn't end up at that potato place because this was WAY better. Homemade soul food? Yep. Traditional beef empanadas were fabulous, as well as mac and cheese, ribs, corn bread, and rice! The people working were super helpful and personable, and even offered to fry some french fries in separate grease for a friend with Celiac. Will definitely be back if we stop out to shop.

This is one of my favorite spots for Spanish food! The food is consistently good and the service is outstanding. They also do catering if you have a need for that. 10/10 and would highly recommend

Food was not that good here. It lacked the boriqua flavor. The tostones were over salted. The rice under seasoned. This is actually one of the worse Spanish food spots I have ever visited as far as flavor. These reviews are misleading. If you want Spanish food find another spot.

this was our first visit and we were not disappointed. the margarita and the shades of grey cocktail were both excellent. the croquettes reminded us of Spain and the tetela was interesting and different. the sauce with the croquettes balanced them well with just the right amount of heat. we shared the paella and enjoyed it. we will be back to try other items on the menu
Excellent presentation, the food was lacking flavor. Not good aside from the bao buns. Tuna was frozen and thawed, not sushi grade. Potato croquettes were literally frozen in the center.
Best hidden food place in Waterloo! Love, love, love the food! Gluten free options that are delicious and you cant even tell it is gluten free!
