I think this is one of the best diners in the area. They use really good bacon. I don't know what it is but it just taste good. Never too busy and the waiter. His name is Melvin is great.

I ordered a turkey burger. I asked if I could have a small salad in place of the fries and onion rings. I was told it would be a $5.00 up charge. I asked for some extra lettuce and tomato. That was a $2.00 up charge. The turkey burger was inedible. It was dry as a bone, and I could hardly swallow it. The taste was awful. It appeared to be a frozen patty that was warmed up in the microwave. The single tomato slice was mushy and tasted old. The waiter deposited the food, and he never returned, even though the diner was fairly empty. We had to ask for water and he never came back to refill the empty water glasses. The hamburger bun was definitely oversized for the paltry, very dry turkey burger. Stay clear of the turkey burger if you eat here and hopefully, you will get better service than I did.

My family went there after my nephew's basketball game. I have to say that was the worst turkey club I ever had. Nothing to it. Maybe I should've asked them to toast the bread..? The matzo ball soup was tasty though.

We have gone to the Glen Cove Diner several times, and each time we were very pleased with the food, service and the helpful staff. The portions are double what I would normally eat, so I have to take home the rest. You don't feel rushed and the lighting is such that you feel relaxed. I would recommend trying this place.
