“It's McDonald's, not much more need be said--except it was crazy busy and for fast food, it was pretty slow. Also, plenty of screeching children (did we screech like wounded animals when WE were kids or is this a 21st century thing?). I guess it's fine later at night, when minus the crowds and the kids.

“WOW!! Love Love Love this little place. lt’s great! First of all, we've been looking for a good burger place in the Union City, WNY, NB area, and it’s been tough, usually they’re mediocre at best, but not this one.
We walked jn and were warmly greeted. Our server was so sweet! She handed us a menu, which looks like an ipad, and there were so many choices, with pictures of the what the food looks like.
My bf and I ordered 2 burgers because we were in a burger mood. I can say that it definitely wasn’t a disappointment! The burgers were juicy, tasty and big! Definitely the Best burger we’ve had in the area.

The place is small, but so charming with all the decor. And they have a TV screen which shows how all the food is prepared. definitely makes you hungry!

Granted, the burgers were messy but definitely worth it! Besides the fact that they give you utensils.

As we were walking out, we ran into one of the owners, And we had to tell him how much we loved the place and the food.

Parriyas is absolutely a great choice for sandwiches and bowls and the wonderful service!

“Stopped here on a whim while walking the High Line. As Angelenos visiting NYC, the idea of gimbap was appealing. We got the veg gimbap and the bulgogi gimbap. They were both so good! What a satisfying meal.

After this, although we felt full, we got a liberty bun, stuffed with cheese. We really enjoyed chatting with Mr. Shin, and we learned that he has had custom molds made for these, with the head of the Statue of Liberty on one side, and the torch on the other. It felt really poignant to be offered these iconic symbols of America, and of immigrant optimism, while our hometown was under attack by ICE. But the bun dissolved all of those kinds of thoughts. It was so good that it dissolved all thought. All there was in the world was the perfectly seasoned cheese filling and the perfect, perfect outer dough shell. I don't know if I've ever eaten anything as perfectly Platonically perfect as this.

“During our trip to NY, we stopped here and grabbed lunch. The line met us at the door but we got our food in under 3 mins due to our orders being taken in line and when we were at the cashier our food got handed to us while we were paying. We sat on the 2nd floor to dine and the restaurant was clean even though it was full during lunch time. The staff got our orders exact and the food was great. The restrooms are located on the second floor.

They have 3 floors at this location:
(First Floor)- Where you make your order and pay/Pick up orders online.
(Second Floor)- This is where you have the first option of dining and restrooms (No code needed).
(Third Floor)- Additional seating for dining.

Also, please note this restaurant is about a 8 min walk from the 9/11 memorial pools/museum, One World Observatory and the Oculus. So if you wanted to grab something before or after visiting this part of the city, this Chick-fi-la would hit the spot!“

“Went for the honey pork bun and the small Thai fries. The bun is really small. You can see my finger in the photo for size comparison. Everything was very tasty though. It's like having a sweet bacon sandwich. Next time I might order a bucket instead. The Thai fries had a good amount of seasoning and was good with the included mayo. I got dessert in Alamo Drafthouse later so I'm glad the portions weren't big. Gave me room. Expensive though.“

“I recently visited Balkan Café and really enjoyed the experience overall. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that the atmosphere inside can get quite loud, as many diners are very lively. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing spot, this may not be the best choice,but if you don’t mind some noise and want great food with warm service, it’s definitely worth a visit.“

“Great late night bite! My husband and I managed to catch them as they were closing and they had no problem taking care of us. The lamb plate with the white and hot red sauce and bit of bbq sauce is the way to go my husband says. I had the chicken over rice and it was fantastic! Perfect mix of veggies too.“

The food here was always fresh and tasty. I sure hope Mr. and Mrs. Moon ,( owners/ read these reviews, since they're no longer working here. The dish Japchae ( sweet potatoe glass noodle) was a great dish that I always ordered with grilled chicken. It was very tasty with it's own vegetables in the mix. The grilled chicken was always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, I ordered this same dish and it only has a few slices of red pepper , a few greens. It tasted mostly like a Sriracha noodle. The chicken is not the same. It tasted strange. For one, it isn't the same white meat grilled chicken and even if it's dark meat, the issue was the taste. I'm truly dissatisfied. Please don't change the original dishes that made us fall in love with your establishment. Looking forward to your progress. Namaste 🌻“

“My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!“

“I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but this place has the absolute best fried chicken I’ve had in ages.

For many years we were huge KFC fans. Then… slowly they started going downhill. The chicken became ultra soggy and “blah”. The sides are the sides and towards the end the coleslaw was the only good thing.

We then moved on to Popeyes. Loved it for a while then the same thing. Chicken didn’t hold up well getting it home and it is only about 5-10 minute ride to the house. The sides and choices were good but after a while it just wasn’t cutting it anymore.

Fast forward to last night. My husband has been saying “You guys HAVE to try this place!!!!” To me and my son. So that’s what we did. He came come with some Classic Chicken Sandwiches and an 8 piece of fried chicken with two sides and some biscuits. The chicken sandwiches were huge perfectly fried pieces of white meat chicken on a bun with Mayo and pickles. That’s it. It was amazing and juicy and tender. The fried chicken absolutely made the 15 minute ride home staying CRISPY with not one ounce of condensation. It was flavorful and juicy and just delicious. (Note: the sides were good). The biscuits were soft and delicious as well.

Also need to add that the staff was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. Excellent experience and happy new customer!!!!

Oh yeah and it’s just as flavorful and delicious at room temp or from fridge. I can’t wait to go back!!!!

No sauces, no extras. I want to see if the burger can stand on its own or if it's hiding behind toppings. This one didn’t need to hide. It was full of flavor, juicy, and cooked just right. I used to drive all the way downtown for a great burger, but now I’ve found one right here on Flatlands. No need to travel anymore. I’ll definitely be back.“
