Atmosphere was nice and the only girl working there was friendly but seemed like she was responsible for too many different aspects, being the only one working and having to take care of the food, drinks, ice cream, and register. She didn’t seem too knowledgeable about the items available.

The food was disgusting. I ate the couple tiny pieces of meat but couldn’t crack through the naan without dislocating my jaw. I can’t recall the last time I had anything so poorly conceived or executed. Had they told me it would be a cold, hard, chewy, stale piece of naan to hold the sandwich elements I would not have even tried it. It’s not fresh at all. Buying pre-packaged or frozen naan at the store would have been better quality and I don’t usually do that because I prefer it fresh out of the tandoori oven. Theirs is not fresh. None of the food seemed fresh at all. The meat was cold, tasteless, a meager portion, not actually butter chicken or lamb gosht as listed on the menu. Those would have been simmered in delicious sauces infusing them with flavor and tenderness which these were clearly not. They were dry and tasteless, without evidence of being simmered in a sauce. There was a little shredded cabbage and a tiny amount of some sort of mint and yogurt? sauce. To charge $15 and $17 for these is crazy. That’s more than a sub on fresh baked bread, and this comes nowhere close in quality or quantity. There are so many other good food options around that are much better quality.

Food is terrible. The butter chicken is dry and had so many bones in the pieces the amount of chicken you actually get is very little. They should have informed me this order would have bones in it instead of just writing on the lid “Bone In- Sorry!” The salad that comes with it wasn’t fresh lettuce. The Nan was missing.
Ordered garlic Nan and that came half burnt and chewy. They said they would refund but have yet to seen that.
Do not recommend.

Me and my girls drove about 50 minutes to try out this place, plus on the instagram page everything looked so delicious! When we first walked in it smelled pretty bad but that didn’t stop us, there was literally ONE employee working, everything we wanted to try on the menu was not available even the drinks. We ended up getting masala fries (took two bites), falafel sandwiches with rice. There was barely any rice put on our plate and the falafel not served with any kind of sauce, also bugs kept flying on our food ( one ate up my food) for the money that was spent the only item that was worth the dollar is literally the carmel iced latte. I can’t believe anyone can leave ONE employee to run a restaurant all on their own she was definitely the sweetest person hope she finds a better place to work at.

Went in for a shot of espresso (very good BTW). Saw “Folded Ice Cream.” Never heard of it. My son had. Got him a strawberry Nutella version. Holy bleep! I live an hour and a half away, but I will be back even if I’m only remotely in the area.

Horrible food. Half of the menu is not available. Nothing on the menu is delivered the way it says on the menu. I ordered Naan for my son and they gave a frozen naan as is without warming up, no salt, no butter nothing. Falafel over rice said it will be served with salad but was served with cold rice and ranch dressing on top. Crazy expensive and Complete waste of money. Servers were not interested in working at all except for one lady. Others were looking like why did you even come and make us work. Never ever visit. Wish I could give negative 5 rating.

My book club meets here once a month around lunch time. The food has been good and the people who work here are always pleasant. Prices are reasonable. You order and pay at the counter, and they'll bring your food to your table once it's ready. Restaurant has a coffeeshop vibe. Big, (possibly) communal tables, a couch or two, lots of books and board games in shelves around the perimeter. Their coffee is surprisingly excellent.

Parking: There is free parking on the street, which, depending on the day and the time, may be ample or completely non-existent. There is always parking in the paid garage, a few blocks away. There are also a couple of free lots within a few blocks. All free parking is limited to 2 or 3 hours, and there is little overnight parking on the streets within city limits.

Tried to grab lunch here (hours on the door said 12-9) - waited outside until about 12:10 and the place was still locked and dark. Walked down to Spot instead, checked back again at 1 and Alif was still locked up. ???

The food was good although not as spicy for desi foods but it was flavorful. The portion sizes were big enough for two people. I really enjoyed the cultural touch inside the cafe with colorful decorations on the walls!

Food was absolutely horrendous. Tasted like freeze dried food just warmed up. Hour and a half to serve our party and still didn’t receive the full order, even though we were the only ones there with a few people coming in for pick up. Only 2 people were working that day. The famous Kashmiri chai tasted like cardamom water. First time in Glenn Falls and absolutely stunning town, the ambiance of the cafe was very nice and we were looking forward to visiting for months. At least they refunded us.
