My wife and I got takeout, and we have also dined in here before.I’d say both experiences were pretty good.I would highly recommend the barbecue pulled pork mac & cheese, that was really good.We ordered tenders and a pepperoni pizza for takeout.The tenders and pizza were pretty good, they weren’t crazy good, but weren’t bad as well.. if that makes sense.We had a good experience dining in as well, it was pretty laid-back.The only thing I wasn’t too crazy about was parking. Finding a parking spot in downtown glens Falls, especially during peak hours sucks. The parking lot can get filled really quickly.Prices aren’t bad, pepperoni pizza, which was pretty decent size what is $13.95The beer, battered chicken tenders, 6 was like $16.75.. and they are pretty decent sizeOverall score 4/5Parking: Pretty big parking lot but usually it’s pretty filled

Great service and great atmosphere! I’ve only eaten here twice and both orders were takeout. The first time our group of 3 raved about the pizza so much (for what felt like months afterward) that I had to stop back in again recently when passing through the area. Unfortunately although the pizza was editable, it was really nothing but. Like every establishment, I’m sure it depends on the cook and I guess I just didn’t get quite as lucky last trip in. But, staff is always friendly and orders are always ready quick. Based on my first experience here, I would still recommend giving them a shot!

Wings were good but the take out pizza was not - 6:30 pickup time schedule and picked up at 6:20 and it was cold and toppings were not cooked fully., the cheese not at all. It seems like they forgot to put it back in the oven after the toppings went on. Disappointing.since it w was our first Time ordering

My friends and I each ate burgers here Sunday evening and by early Monday we were all at various stages of illness. Just a heads up, and normally we have each had wonderful experiences at Downtown City Tavern. Service was way off par as well. Long periods of no acknowledgement. Again, not our usual experience.

Love this place. Leah is so nice and friendly, and her willingness to go out of her way to keep your drinks flowing and your belly's full you would think she was a 17th century tavern wench. Superb atmosphere ? super HIGHly recommend this joint.

They gracefully accommodated a party of 6 at 915 right before the kitchen closed and I know they just wanted to go home and be done. The food was well made and not rushed we were passing through on our way to Vermont and greatly appreciated the service.
