Ate carry out. Prompt and accurate. Rolls are good, and the pork katsu was pretty good, but chicken teriyaki and JapChae was awful. Way over cooked.

They have a nice atmosphere with it being bar like. Along with an Asian theme. The udon noodles were great and they give a decent amount of seafood.

We've been going to Mikado for many years. Since they were on South Street. Loved this new location when it first opened but it has gone down hill.It used to be spotless. The sushi bar needs help. Dirty. The pleather placemats are more than unsanitary. They have no place at a sushi bar. The counters need deep cleaning. It seems this restaurant has no real need for seats at a sushi bar any longer. The atmosphere is noisy with most of the noise coming from multiple hibachi tables and the bar area where drinks are served. I think it would behoove them to expand their drinking bar and do away with the sushi bar entirely. Take sushi production to the kitchen area. Plates of deep fried shrimp and vegetables are always sitting on top of the refrigerated glass fish areas waiting to be used in sushi rolls. It seems folks most want deep fried food with lots of glop on top of it. Gone are the days of plain, simple sushi and sashimi. I'm sad to say but we will not be going back. Prices have gone way up!

The experience at the hibachi was great as I felt the chef was one of the most entertaining chefs at a hibachi spot! Also the owner (the lady?) was so kind and thoughtful.
Their sushi was also good quality in terms of fish!
