The food portion here is huge! The pho was delightful. But the chicken katsu was very dry.The spicy tuna wasn't spicy at all. Actually it had no flavor. It was fresh though.

My mom and I decided to go to Mikado for dinner last night and we were both impressed! We were promptly greeted and sat in a semi-private area. Our server, Dylan, was very friendly and attentive. I had previously been here for hibachi, but was excited to try the sushi options. I ordered tobiko and eel sushi, the Las Vegas roll, spicy tuna roll, philadelphia roll, and california roll. The tobiko and eel were great portion sizes and tasted amazing. My favorite roll was the Las Vegas, which had shrimp tempura, tuna, crab, and cream cheese on the inside. For dessert, I ordered the green tea mochi. All of the food was delicious, and there was enough to take home and enjoy later! The service was quick, and Dylan took care to answer any questions we had throughout the night, and had good knowledge on the menu items. Definitely looking forward to trying more on the menu.

One of my favorite restaurants in Glens Falls. I love the hibachi chicken, fried rice and the sauces are amazing. You can watch your meal being cooked or sit at a regular table. They have sushi as well if you like that.
Amazing fresh made sushi and lots of options! Everything else looks great too, but I go for the sushi. Friendly staff, fast service.Parking: Street parking or parking garage across the street

Got take out ordered filet mignon and did not get filet mignon. We got sirloin and all four dishes and they charged $10 to use your debit card.
We go here pretty often and it's a good option for sushi in town. When it is good it is really good but have had a few visits lately where the sushi was ok. Overall good option for this area.

My experiences with Mikaido's takeout have been inconsistent. I consistently order the Vegetable Ramen, but the contents vary significantly. Sometimes, it includes a variety of vegetables like broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, onions, and cabbage. However, there are instances when it only contains onions, peppers, and cabbage. When ordering a vegetable soup, one naturally expects a consistent presence of vegetables. It's disappointing to anticipate a specific dish and receive a different variation. Consistency is typically expected when ordering the same item repeatedly.
