We came seeking authentic Mexican food. This establishment is more of a pub that serves Mexican inspired food. I should have known that we were off the mark when we walked in to Beyoncé on the house speakers.
I used to LOVE Rauls. The last 2 times I ordered food, though I was less than impressed. It seems the portions were way smaller, and the brisket seemed overcooked and dry. It's not a huge deal, but when you pay almost 20 dollars for a burrito, the expectation is that you're going to get a burrito worth 20 dollars. The prices just don't match the quality or quanitity one would expect lately, and that is so unfortunate.
