“My family and I went to Elsies last Saturday after my son got married on the day that he was originally supposed to have his big wedding which was postponed due to Covid. Afterwards we went to Elsies to have breakfast and could not have been more pleased with the service that we received and the food was delicious. The owner went above and beyond trying to find T-shirts that we all wanted to buy to memorize the day.“

“Breakfast today in Goshen. Wife had mushroom swiss omelet and fries, I had pancakes and home fries. Everything was cooked perfectly, and delicious. Waitress provided excellent service and was very friendly. Only negative was with 25 empty tables, we were seated right next to a large group with kids screaming, playing leapfrog in the aisles with no parenting at all. Just a different generation. Could have sat us on the other side...“

“My wife and I were trying to decide where to go for lunch this afternoon but we wanted to try something we hadn’t normally tried before. So I remembered seeing the large corona bottle outside the Strada grill when I drove by the other day so we decided to give them a chance. That was probably one of the best moves we’ve made in a long time. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable, the place is very clean, the portion sizes are very generous, and everything was delicious. We are now going to make the Strada grill our go to lunch/brunch place from here on out.“

“Fantastic breakfast menu. Omelets , eggs , pancakes all fantastic you won't leave hungry or broke. Discount if you pay with cash. Friendly waitresses kept my coffee cup filled. The staff worked as a team and made for an enjoyable dining experience. Restrooms were clean and poop worthy. If your hungry and want breakfast the new Chester diner is the place.“

“Wife and I were in from NJ and decided to stop for lunch. It was very good. the place is clean,great atmosphere reasonable priced .the food was hot, tasty and received it quickly. but most of all our waitress Jessica was nice and freindly, We didnt get the other lady's name but she was very friendly and they treated us like family. Definitely going back when we travel up that way again. Thank You“

“Nice place for breakfast. It would be even nicer if the waitresses didnt steal your change. I never pay cash because if I pay cash unless its exact amount I can forget about getting back any coin change. They round it off to the nearest dollar always to their benefit. Apparently the patrons there dont tip very well so they take matters in their own hands....it is called petty larceny....good food though“

“We’ve had dinner here a few times & each time everything has been great! Whenever we want to have a diner food experience where everyone can get what they want instead of choosing an Italian restaurant, Chinese, etc this is our go to! Last night was a great experience as well! It’s really like an upscale diner for sure! We’ve never had cocktails here (yet!) but the bar is huge & beautiful!“

“One week ago I called the Colonial Diner when the caterer for our daughter’s after wedding brunch cancelled 10 days before the wedding weekend. I told them what my crisis was and these complete strangers sprang into action and promised to take care of us. This morning they delivered delicious food and sooo much of it. All of our 120 brunch guests raved about all of the food and especially the French toast and sausage (many said the sausage was the best they ever had). I will be forever grateful to Carmen and Nikki for being amazing human beings. Thank you for being part of the wedding weekend!“
