Also, she got a small portion of fries compared to what other patrons who ordered fries had on their plate.“

“Jimmy and Bernice work the wee hours of the morning to make everything fresh every day. From the Friday corn beef hash for breakfast ( sells out early) to the best fresh burgers. Homemade soups. While I worked in the area I ate lunch there every day for about 40 years. Miss eating there they made you feel like family.“

“I recently visited the newly revamped “3 Stone Family Diner.” The staff seemed to really have a “family” dynamic. My food was also great. Though a cheeseburger and fries is a simple meal, the chef truly amplified it. My dessert also proved that 3 Stone Family Diner implores a delicious motif. I had a wonderful slice of cheesecake, dulcified with a blueberry spread. I felt as if everything was fairly priced. One can see how the new owners are positively changing the place. “I came to Plaza 23 diner tonight with a very large social group. We were served immediately. The food and service was outstanding. We were served by Hope and Hernan. The hostess was Nicole. Two members in our group were celebrating their birthdays. The staff overheard and made a big deal, brought over a piece of cake, and sang with us.

“The food and atmosphere is great. The gentleman who serves the drinks is the nicest worker there. Most of the waitresses are okay but there’s one who always seems to have attitude when she’s there. I thought at first she was just having a bad day but a few times of having her as a server I realize that’s how she is but it is quite uncomfortable. Also I don’t understand why a 15% tip is attempted to be taken automatically without notice. I asked for it to be taken off since I was giving a cash tip and it seemed the lady in front didn’t want to. Honestly this interaction made me a bit uncomfortable with this establishment. I should be able to give the tip I desire to give to the server in the form of payment I wish. It was just a bit absurd, especially since I was giving more tip than what was requested at the time of payment. I never had an experience like this at any other dinner. I’m hoping these things are addressed since this is a very lovely diner and I enjoyed coming here for some time with the my husband.“

I'm not a fan of eggs so the options are more limited for me to pancakes, waffles, etc. so we usually do lunch instead.They are open for dinner now during the week but post the specials on Instagram. They used to have a website and it no longer works, I really wish they would fix it because in this day and age usually if you don't have a website you don't last long as a business.“
