The lettuce was starting to brown- it was late- the girl making my wrap went to the back to get me fresher lettuce even though most people would have eaten it with no problem. Everything those young people did was done with care for the customer- obviously- as it should be- but we all know - often isn't the case. I really appreciated the effort they put in tonight. “After a tip from friends, we checked out Merchants Wood Fired Pizza & Bistro. It's in an out of the way location, but is so worth your trip. Nestled in a city neighborhood, this place is delicious with a super cute patio. Food gave off an "Old School Italian American" vibe in the best possible way. We enjoyed flavorful housemade meatballs in a great sauce. Burrata was tasty with the most delicious charred tomatoes (we omitted the prosciutto at one diner's preference). The salads were just the right size if you wanted to have those and split a pizza, which two of us did. The Funghi Pizza was tasty and had just the right amount of truffle (some places go overboard). This was a super hit -- very crave-able! For our pickier diner, the Spicy Cup Pepperoni Pizza was the perfect option. Both pizzas had a nice crust, baked nicely, and a perfect amount of cheese. Service was friendly and attentive. Everyone greatly enjoyed the meal. We'll definitely return.“

“We are from Michigan & have not found one local chain pizza place that actually has 'flavor'! My son & I visited here last week & were so surprised at how good the pizza slices tasted! Tasted like high quality ingredients with lots of flavor! Reasonable prices. The young girl at the counter was so sweet & accommodating, while the young man who was the manager cooked the pizza to perfection! Both were very professional & welcoming. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.“

“I got the kabob chicken over basmati rice with a salad. The portion was huge, so was able to get two meals out of it. The salad was dressed perfectly with just the right amount of dressing so it wasn't drowning, but all coated nicely. I especially liked the cheese over it, which melted slughtly being packed together with the rice& chicken. The chicken was browned nicely and the rice was firm yet tender with the grains not stuck together at all. It was aromatic and yummy! The service was friendly and I would definitely order from them again.“

“Nathans gave my baby a bowl of soup during the saddest day of her life first day of chemo. She came home all lit up that she had a bowl of soup and it made her so happy during the storm of a hardship. Wow I hope that God blesses this business ten fold and you have a new patron for life, me! there's never food at the Cancer Center just a snack cart and for people to sit around hungry all day is really sad I know I was one. I made her pack some snacks and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich because I was afraid she was going to be hungry all day at the hospital. God bless you really for thinking of those suffering and hungry. I cannot put into words how this makes me feel. thank you from the bottom of my heart.“

“Being from the Phily area Mac's really gave me a taste of home in a world full of "steak & cheeses". Especially with those AMOROSO rolls, anybody from the area knows that's the REAL secret!!! I only gave 4 stars though cause I was really disappointed with the roast pork. Don't get me wrong, it tasted great. I'm just a sucker for the sharp provolone. I dont do the broccoli rabe, but in order to be a real PHILLY spot, they gotta atleast be an option!“

“I had a review show up on my page a while ago. I followed up by following their page on FB. Today I couldn't put it off any longer "A LARGE CHEESE PIZZA FOR $12.00" are you kidding me. typically I like to add some toppings when ordering a pizza but I wanted to see what the bare bones have to say and by the way when they say large they mean it. It reminded me of the way it used to be instead of the large size other shops typically offer today which don't come close. I went to pick it up and when I entered the shop it immediately presented a very nice "Vibe". There were several pizzas ready with a variety of toppings for purchase by the slice. The room smelled amazing. The environment is welcoming and clean. I spoke with the woman at the counter who may have been the owner and I meant to ask but was engaged with other questions since it was my first visit. The pizza was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful I truly did not miss having other toppings added, although I am anxious to try them with my next order. As a result, I ate more than I should have and had to force myself to stop. Still we all know how nice it is to have some leftover for later. If you have not tried them yet, don't hesitate. I also notice so many other great items on their menu. Oh well so much for my weight goals.“

“Great subs and other food. Consistently good. It is very difficult to figure out and navigate the online menu; each time they attempt to improve it, it gets worse. It used to be easy when they pictured each topping that you could click and pick. Recommended. We would order more often if online ordering/sub building were easier and more logical.

“I had one of the best subs ever today. The new Italian sausage with onions and peppers. Not only was the sub the best but the bread and ingredients were spot on. Shout out to the very nice dark haired taller lady who served me. She was very sweet and prompt. Makes me feel comfortable they are hiring good people. Thank you“

“Join the BreadClub for occasional discounts and offers.These subs are very similar to Wegmans subs (DiBellas actually shared their process with Wegmans I believe). The bread is among the better for sub shops (not too hard on the outside, but not completely soft either). The ingredients (meats and toppings) are very good quality. It is a little more pricey, but it is worth it.“

“I ordered three subs from DiBellas on East Ridge Road after work Saturday the 20th of Nov. around 3:30pm. I wish I would have gotten the young lady's name who made my sub's I would have let her no. Great Job Young Lady, thats what keep customers coming back.. she was very nice, thank you for being so understanding I was tired and all the staff who help including cashier was great, I ordered the meatball,, turkey, and steak, subs, they were delicious and service was great ?? quick and the atmosphere was very nice I will be returning. “Always great food, and the atmosphere is great. The prices are a bit high, but worth it. The staff is usually awesome, although some experiences have been worse than others. For the most part, really nice place to go when you want a healthy and tasty meals. Only other gripe with it is that I ordered a naan bread with my bowl online and I didn’t get it 😔“
