Nathans gave my baby a bowl of soup during the saddest day of her life first day of chemo. She came home all lit up that she had a bowl of soup and it made her so happy during the storm of a hardship. Wow I hope that God blesses this business ten fold and you have a new patron for life, me! there's never food at the Cancer Center just a snack cart and for people to sit around hungry all day is really sad I know I was one. Today soups include crab with red pepper , and chicken gumbo . I just had large size gumbo , with whole grain mini loaf 🍞 nice lunch! I’m saving my chicken Caesar salad for later. Great day for soup and salad! Quick delivery downtown. Remember to tip ! Nathan’s has been around for decades, because everyone needs a great soup on a rainy day, and you know Roc has plenty of those. ⛑☔️

Nathan's Soup & Salad offers a variety of dishes, from the "Special" Lobster bisque to the Chicken Salad with Grapes and Walnuts. The restaurant has been a favorite for many, with some customers recalling its long history dating back to the early 1990s when soups changed each day and were known by heart. Many appreciate the friendly and caring staff, who go above and beyond to make every visit special. For example, the owner and staff have shown kindness by donating soup and bread to the Pluta Cancer Center, providing warmth and comfort to those in need. One customer shared how Nathan's gave her baby a bowl of soup during a difficult day of chemo, which brought happiness during a hard time. The restaurant's classic deli feel, good service, and delicious food like the tuna/egg salad combo sandwich and garden veggie soup keep visitors coming back. Despite some minor issues with the lobster bisque and the buffalo chicken salad, most customers leave satisfied and grateful for the caring atmosphere. Many also commend the generous spirit of the restaurant, especially in supporting those who are suffering or hungry.
