“This is an order-at-the-counter type place. It was packed with folks picking up takeout and some door dash folks. We were one of the take out orders. Got street tacos and they were legit. Also ordered the chicken mole, rice and beans. My socks were knocked off by the rice and beans and the chicken was delicious. We went back the next day for more. They also had an assortment of vittles (savory and sweet) at the counter.

Update: been there three times and have never been disappointed!! Ordered the chorizo burrito. Good heat level on the sauces that come with it, delicious chorizo flavor. Rice and beans are AMAZING as well. Picked up another couple of tamales de pollo for lunch as well. Great place!!

Vegetarian options: Not sure if there’s animal fat in the beans.

Parking: Lots of space in the lot. Strip-mall look.“

“The 2 young ladies working at this location on 7/20 deserve to be recognized and commended for their courtesy and service. I'm a recently displaced vet and completely unfamiliar with this area. So that is to say, their friendly attitudes and courtesy were exemplary - in a time where that's rare in most American retail operations anymore - and made the experience even more pleasant than the food. Which was also a nice surprise, and well prepared. I can recommend this place as long as these two are running it.“

Cannot beat this in Albany for healthy eating. So many options. Got Salmon and my cousin had spicy thai chicken, edamame, black beans, feta and parmesan. Out of sight. The options somehow seem deeper than Chopt while the ambience is more humble. Small footprint but we sat comfortably on cushion benches. No calorie bubbly water and chips to finish the meal. They just need to stay open later so we can hang out!“

“Oct 2024: Ordered via UberEats. We were so tired after driving from Vermont at midnight, wanted to have something hot, tasty in the nighttime. This place served us Falafel and Rice (all vegetarian) so tasty with sauces (I guess tamarind and hari chutney)

I’m vegan and find it very easy to tell which dishes I can eat on the website - and there are enough that I still haven’t tried them all despite eating here pretty often. “I tried about three different things. All the base sauce or curry had different but great flavors. I asked for a Thai pepper, and it was so spicy and flavorful. I ended up slicing it and mixing it in the tom yum coconut broth for a kick. The lunch prices were really fair.“

“This area and the people who work here are very pleasant a lot of people who go here are not very present but they're all courteous when you go in the polite to some extent. Fresh food, fresh ingredients (from the farm), nice outdoor seating overlooking the farm, and a couple outdoor fire pits. They are pet friendly and have really done a great job with the property. “I went there tonight for the first time...ordered my pizza in house, waited the stated time, went back in, paid and enjoyed it out in the car..the establishment has a spacious lot for customers...had heard of Dante's pizzas awhile back...decided to finally take a drive out (I live about 40 minutes from there)... I must say, I was impressed. in particular, was the freshness of what I was eating [8 cut pepperoni, mushroom and hot peppers)..the sauce was balanced and on point. the peppers were in two rich varieties, appeared to be freshly sliced, and pepperoni was a tasty, mild Margherita style that was generously offered. I've had pizza from a good number of well-respected pizza places in the capital region- and this pizza had had a very nice composition and the crust was nearly perfect in every way.. It had the proper donenese, the nice receding gumline that floated away to Fluffy, pillow like outer crust. The crust had a good crisp to it but not overly done...just overall great balance with finer ingredients for sure...I will definitely go back again. I would say that this pizza can compete with some of the most popular pizzeria's in the Tri -city area. I really believe that!!.. it was really good... in my opinion.“
