She offered to make me something different and really went above and beyond to take care of me as a customer. “My favorite place in the area, as the food is always fresh and delicious! The portions are huge and Sal and his staff are amazing; he can come up with anything even if it’s not listed on the menu. They get busy with lunch rush from the hospital and still manage to get everyone in and out. I highly recommend their spicy falafel gyro! My daughter loves their chopped salmon and her best friend is obsessed with the chopped cheese sandwiches. It gives NYC deli vibes. I come here for lunch every week and have yet to leave unsatisfied. They have vegan options as well and there is something for everyone here.“

“Stopped here after my boss told me how good the food was. I haven’t had authentic Mexican food like this since I was in SoCal 12 years ago. The food was packed with flavor, the portions were huge (tacos absolutely filled, and the burrito was definitely a two hander to be able to eat it). Staff is friendly but English is definitely their second language so be patient, the food is worth it. I saw a bunch of reviews of people complaining about roaches, I waited inside for about 5 minutes and the place was clean, no idea what they’re talking about. Temp inside is definitely cold(writing this in winter) they either don’t run heat or keep it set very low. Bring a coat if you can’t handle cold I guess. Regardless, this place is dangerously good. Good luck finding better tasting, more authentic, or cost friendly Mexican food locally.“

“Consistently awesome food at this place. The hummus is soooo delish and creamy, and the pita to dip in it is fresh and tasty. You can (and should) double dip in the hummus; it’s worth it.

Falafel pita sandwich is awesome with the crispy pita chips to dip in the afore mentioned hummus, and the baba ghanoush is super tasty.

Take out only. But the owner is super friendly when you go in to pick up your food. It’s clear he is a master at cheffing up high quality middle eastern cuisine. Highly recommend.“

“The food was absolutely amazing! We had the edamame, pork belly buns, seaweed salad, the seared tuna salad, beef ramen with extra toppings, two hot sake in a carafe, and an IPA. Considering the amount of food and the large portions the price was beyond reasonable.
The atmosphere is very relaxed with an old favorite diner vibe.
Our server Jessie was fantastic. She was so prompt and on top of everything, very good at reading a table and knowing exactly when to step in to be the best of service without making you feel rushed or interrupted. Even though it's not a huge space she single handedly kept the whole front of house together with grace and a friendly attitude.

“I came in between 4 and 5pm with my husband. We are frequent visitors of the Latham location. When we were being cashed out, we were abruptly interrupted when a older male (assuming their boss) came from the back and started (quite rudely) yelling at the employees working the front. It was quite unappetizing to see them being spoken to in that manner, especially in front of customers. The friendly employees are one of the main reasons my husband and I favor this location. I am quite surprised they did not quit on the spot. I gave them a sympathetic look before putting money in one of the tip jars.“

The environment was pleasant and easy with a touch of class. The half-chicken "Picata" ordered was "mm-hmm good" served with an exquisitely savory sauce, prepared by Chef Jake, who is a rising star and a compliment to Troy's fine dining experience. The taste of any of their produce reminds one of the reason to shop at local farms. The salted chocolate chip cookies ain't bad either. Look for habanada peppers, the fruitiness of a habanero without the heat. There's a farm store in Hudson, NY.“
