“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? Like I said we will go again !!! Great food.“

The tamale was perfectly moist and savory, and the taco Pescadero was fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also devoured the steak quesadilla, which was cheesy and full of tender steak. My wife and I split the Bandeja Paisa platter and it was so much food we had a full serving left over to bring home. My toddler’s cheese quesadilla was delicious. “I first tried Porky Cochinita after being recommended by my brother. Let me tell you how amazing this place was, and from great tasting food to amazing service it was all the best. I called about an order for 30 people and actually messed up the date of the order. And I went into panic mode, but they handled it like professionals without making me feel bad about my huge error! I received stellar service when I called and initially placed my order. And great communication via text. I will not hesitate to use them in the future and they handled my catering order so well. I cater food a lot and have had varied experiences, and this has been one of the best. If you love tacos, burritos, etc this is your place!! Don’t hesitate, just do it!“

“I’ve tried Qdoba maybe once or twice before, and it’s always good - but the STAFF at this specific location, especially the lady by the casher was over-the-top helpful, friendly, and patient.

She acted like a caring business owner and not just a paid employee - amazing.

She helped us download the app, and even offered us a bag to carry our leftovers when she noticed we were carrying individual containers of leftover food out - proactive and genuinely caring!

Will stop in again just for the red carpet treatment, to say nothing of the amazing food!

“I WOULD NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone after the experience I had there last night. I went out to eat with my parents and we unfortunately decided on this restaurant. We were seated immediately but basically we were the “forgotten” table. No water or drinks for 15 minutes. Waited another 15 minutes to take our appetizer and entree order. They forgot about my salad and at this point each of us needed water refills and drink refills but we would have to wait another 20 minutes for that. Other servers walking around INCLUDING THE MANAGER probably walked past our table a few times not offering to refill our drinks or take the plates out of the way. The entrees come and our server never comes back to check on us. We have finished eating our food and while I was waiting for proper service I noticed that other tables had their food packed for them. I asked another servers for boxes for the food and instead of taking our food she gave us boxes to do ourselves. I truly feel they over sat our waitress but your “team” should have been able to help her out and not make it an every man for themselves type deal. The food was okay nothing that was out of this world, but the service was truly terrible. As a result we will never be back.“

Just be warned that the online ordering system on their website is not connected in store, they will not receive your order and you will have to re-order in store. “the pineapple salsa is phenomenal not as good as the avocado salsa which they took away and it makes me so upset because it was my favorite but I'm so glad they have the pineapple salsa now it is my favorite it is amazing I take home at least10 of the to-go cups every time I go there and ask for extra chips they're amazing I'm going to enjoy laying in bed tonight eating my chips and pineapple salsa thank you“

“As an owner of multiple businesses, I NEVER write reviews. Unless it’s an absolutely stellar experience and well deserved. Besides the fact the have the absolute best shrimp and steak burrito with brown rice (for those of you that are healthy)- I walked in with my two toddlers to pick up. The restaurant accidentally switched my order with someone else’s. The restaurant called me when I was almost back home in Sayville (my boys do Karate next door). They immediately notified me of the error before I found out, and insisted making it right. Not only did they insist on driving to the Sayville area to give me what I originally ordered- they let me keep the food I got, plus gave me a second burrito for free, and churros for my boys. This review was written not only for an amazing burrito- but the service. Modern days it’s hard enough for a business to care about taking your order, let alone going above and beyond. Hats off to the manager (especially) and the staff tonight, you deserve it! Disregard any other bad/mediocre reviews from others just having a bad day!“
