We've got Hauppauge's top Mexican restaurants covered for you.
“I get lunch from Vallarta at least once a week for several years now. The staff is friendly and the food is consistently delicious, with a larger menu than your typical fast-mexican spot. Strongly recommend skipping the chains and giving these folks a try!“
“The girl who served us was very sweet and kind. Food was delicious and made to perfection. The place was also very clean and quiet. Also my first time ever seeing a restaurant with the fountain drinks with all types of drink and all flavors available. That was a big plus :))“
“So I’m a die hard Chipotle fan for years now and have never before posted a review on any of their locations, but I feel this calls for it and hopefully management can review! What is up with the guacamole at this location?? I received spoiled Guac 2-3 times already on different days in my delivery order. Today I decided to go in and order myself to look at the Guac before paying $3 for it and what do you know ?? brown Guac again behind the counter ! I asked the girl if they have any fresh Guac and she said no this is it, it was made today so it’s fresh. Well it’s possible it was made today, but not with green fresh avocados! They must be mixing their Guac with avocados that are so ripe they’ve gone bad. Anyways, I’m steering away from the Guac at this spot but what a shame - it was one of my favorite toppings !“
“Always great food. But the employees trying to rush you when choosing what you want is extremely annoying. I get we went to move things along but it shouldn't be an uncomfortable and anxious thing when ordering your food. Me personally I simply ignore them and go at my pace. ??♂️“
“been waiting to try this place for YEARS since i first heard abt it. its like an elevated chipotle bowl LOL. solid meal and huge portions.I got the fat boys barbacoa and my friend got the hawaiian. Mine was lacking a little sauce so was a bit dry but overall, enjoyable anyways. My friend’s shrimp was so good. Might come back to try their shrimp + fish tacos.“
“Let me stress this part, MAKE A RESERVATION! We arrived on a Friday night and of course had no reservation. We were told 20/30 minute wait for a table which we were fine with, except we waited for over an hour. After being seated we then waited for another 20 minutes before we were even greeted by a server which was quite frustrating because we were starving. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Aside from our extended waits for seating and service, the food itself was great. I ordered the "Cielo" which was a nice smooth yet strong drink. The tacos were delicious, tortillas didn't immediately fall apart and the filet mignon was juicy and tender. The sauce was amazing. Shoutout to Roberto for making the rest of our night, he did an excellent job.“
“This is what I call oh my god good!! Make sure you get the street tacos! Amazing! It’s what you would get in Mexico! It’s the real deal! You should also try the, not so tropical quesadilla! Also, try the salad bowl with beef! Everything was awesome! Can’t wait to get it all again!!!“
“Now we went to eat for the third time, the tacos are good but the gorditas were much better the previous time, now they don't put 2 tortillas, it's just one and so nooo and the taste was not so good, I'm sorry for that I gave it 2 “
“First time in here. It was quiet at about 12:00. Parking in the lot was easy. I was tended to right away. I chose a salad bowl with sautéed zucchini, carne asada, pico, and & shredded cheese. The food was phenomenal. I would definitely go back when I’m in the area.“
“It’s like every other QDoba. They have a tendency to go a little light on the vegetable toppings though.Vegetarian options: Has Impossible Meat as a protein option. You can also go meatless.Dietary restrictions: You can fully customize your bowl to accommodate your diet. I eat here as vegan without issue.“
