“Ive been going to burrito palace for many many years. Unfortunately, it seems as the original owners sold the place recently and are under new management. They no longer serve halal and have an entirely new menu. I loved this place since it was very different. I cant find any other places on the island that served what they served. Their food was amazing. Ever since the new management, I havent gone back. They now only have regular spanish food items. So sad to see my favorite halal spot close down. I now drive to the miller place location when i am craving some burrito palace. Its a 20 min drive for me but always worth it. In my opinion, they shouldve changed the name of the new store and started entirely over since this isnt burrito palace anymore. Still giving 5 stars but will most likely not return to try their new menu.“
“Don't know what the other reviews are talking about. We've always ordered out and finally decided to dine in. Was a great experience! Food came out fast and hot. Waitress was super nice and attentive. No complaints at all. We will definitely be coming back again.“
“Ok so went to chipotle and I believe his name was Jacob, helped us with our order… the line was out the door he was working by him self AND KILLIN IT ! Jacob thank you sooo much for being so kind & also moving fast under pressure . Jacob needs an award haha. I don’t live in the area but I will definitely be back .“
“The most delicious Mexican food I have eaten on Long I since I moved to New York from California 40 years ago!!It is fresh, inventive, well-prepared and nicely presented and divine. This is not your run of the mill rice and beans tacqueria that everyone on Long Island settles for. This is real authentic Mexican, the way it should be.My friend and I ordered margaritas which were perfectly bright, refreshing and served the way they're supposed to be served. The tortilla chips were fresh and the salsa had just the right amount of zing.We ordered the Empanada Mariscos appetizer, a seafood empanada appetizer which was very fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the Enchiladas Campenchano, which looked so delicious, I asked to taste the sauce. She wasn't as familiar with Mexican food. But she absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back. Amazing. Guess what I am ordering on my next visit?!I ordered the mole enchiladas. Can I say OMG!!! Rich, complex, and wonderfully silky and excellent, the mole was perfectly prepared and presented, as it should be, on corn tortillas filled with tender, juicy chicken. The Mexican chocolate in the sauce absolutely sang. Incredible. I had goosebumps!! It tasted like more.Since we were celebrating a birthday we ordered Coffe Flan!! Melt in your mouth, indescribably rich and delicious!!! It was light and smooth with just the perfect amount of coffee flavor. Succulent. The staff surprised my friend with a generous piece of tres leches with a candle on it, and they sang happy birthday to her. She was thrilled.Summary: The ambiance is bright and festive. The service is attentive and warm. The cuisine (yes, cuisine) was incredibleTlhe prices, for this level and quality, were just right and worth every penny.Bottom line: We cannot wait to go back.By the way, they also serve brunch!!“
“They moved to a bigger and better spot. Super clean and vibrant. Birria Tacos are busssssinnnn. Beef and cheese empanadas are sooo good and light. Birria Ramen is packed with so much flavor and the size is just enough for one person. Very good pricing too. I was able to try a lot of their menu for under $30. As someone who travels for work and need a place that is quick and easy but great flavor THIS PLACE IS A MUST. Don’t sleep on it. Will be back a couple more times before I head back home. ???Wheelchair accessibility: A lot of room to move around.“
“Let me stress this part, MAKE A RESERVATION! We arrived on a Friday night and of course had no reservation. We were told 20/30 minute wait for a table which we were fine with, except we waited for over an hour. After being seated we then waited for another 20 minutes before we were even greeted by a server which was quite frustrating because we were starving. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Aside from our extended waits for seating and service, the food itself was great. I ordered the "Cielo" which was a nice smooth yet strong drink. The tacos were delicious, tortillas didn't immediately fall apart and the filet mignon was juicy and tender. The sauce was amazing. Shoutout to Roberto for making the rest of our night, he did an excellent job.“
“We really liked Chicos Tex Mex. The food was great and the selection was perfect. The service was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a small store, so don't expect to bring a large group to dine in. It was a good experience overall, and we will be ordering from here again.“
“Now we went to eat for the third time, the tacos are good but the gorditas were much better the previous time, now they don't put 2 tortillas, it's just one and so nooo and the taste was not so good, I'm sorry for that I gave it 2 “
“Went here for the first time. I was immediately impressed by the fact that when I ordered a lamb gyro they cooked/heated up the meat along with the gyro flatbread on the grill. This way my sandwich was piping hot and tasted fresher than places that usally keep a hot tray for the meats and dish it out. Service was also friendly. I will be back!“
“Exactly what I would expect from a small Colombian restaurant. Great tasting authentic food, in good portions, for a good price. Have eaten here, and ordered takeout, numerous times, never disappointed. They have great service and are always so friendly and kind.Parking: Plenty of off street parking, also nearby other Lake Ronkonkoma businesses and attractions.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu - my kids love it! Try the hotdogs and fries!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance.“
