Rickie the general manager was absolutely the highlight of my visit! Excellent people skills, attention to details and checking up on my as I wait for the food was the best service I’ve received than any fancy place I’ve been to! If you haven’t given him a raise yet definitely do!
He was also training new staff members while taking care of multiple customers.

“This hole in the wall place has the friendliest staff and ridiculously good food. We have been twice now and tried a variety of items on the menu and nothing has disappointed. The chips and salsa are scratch made, the burritos are large enough to share, nachos are a must-have. Vegetarian options are available. Prices are beyond reasonable; last time we went we spent $70 with drinks and tip for four people.“

“I have lived in Patchogue for 25 years. I remember when there was no Mexican Food in Patchogue at all! Lindo Mexico is a *special* place. There's fancier, there's more festive... but Lindo Mexico is *special*. If you want off-the-charts deliciousness that is authentic, go to Lindo Mexico. Proud to have this restaurant in my village. “Came to write my review so fast. Chicken tacos were delicious. I got them doordashed and they were still so hot, double wrapped with a soft corn shell so they didn’t get soggy, and then individually wrapped in tin foil. I appreciate this level of care because tacos can get messy. The chicken was tender and juicy and the flavors were on point, and the tacos were filled well for the price! Highly recommend“

“THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. “The food here is consistently amazing and prices are reasonable. My wife and I have been here about a dozen times since moving into the neighborhood a few years ago. We usually get a few tamales (green, red, and/or rajas) and they're always hot, fresh, and delicious. I've also gotten a few breakfast sandwiches here (bacon, egg, avocado) and they're also great.“

“The food was great from this tiny little place, the chiarrone, fresh sweet plantains, grilled steak, rice and beans topped with a fried egg. They also serve a delicious green sauce, the prices are reasonable, the food is made to order and very fresh. Would recommend this place for an authentic experience. Excellent dishes and very tasty!“
