Hey I am Todd Aagard from Seattle Washington. . .actually Mill Creek . . Close enough . . I am a Seafood snob . . First off I don't write that many reviews . . I know how hard it is to run a business . . I won't make anyone's lives harder due to an off night. I only write reviews when everything is 10+. Anker is 10+. I went back a couple of times and had many items on the menu . . Everything is fresh, tasty, perfect . . Gotta be straight with ya. . . My server Juliet (spelling??) . . Was the best sever I have had in over a decade . . she was and is the X factor of Anker . . She pulls the ambiance, the food, the vibe all together into one perfect experience . . If I said anymore words I would be minimizing her very professional skill set. Simply . . Juliet is an all star . . Thank you to the entire crew of Anker for making my dinner experience the best I have ever had on Long Island . . The best seafood, the best atmosphere . . If ya want the best . . The secret sauce of Anker . . Ask for Juliet!

The upstairs of the restaurant is lovely, with view of the water. One in our party had the fish and chips and it was excellent! The fries were also excellent. The others in our party had the crab cakes, they were very disappointing. Small and mostly breading.

The watermelon salad, clam chowder and street corn were delicious! Fish and chips were just ok. Upstairs deck was breezy and comfortable and allowed our small dog to dine with us.

Simply loved it. Our waitress, Mara, was the nicest server I have encountered. Food fabulous.

Service was inattentive, but the food and atmosphere were good (once the noisy bro's at the bar left).

Drinks came in 15 minutes. They were ok but very expensive. We gave the full order at once. Server didnt write it down knew right then there would be mistakes. Oysters came in 35 minutes. Very tiny, but fresh. One item came and hour twenty minutes later. Heirloom tomatoes. Delicious. A half hour later came a wrong order and a terrible crab toast devoid of any crab flavor on burnt toast. Twenty minutes later came my correct order, which was comped since I was there for almost two hours and it was not good. I know not writing down orders seems classy and elegant, but if you can't remember, go back to paper.
Corporately owned crap over priced tourist trap. I really miss the restaurant that was there.

I was so excited to try this place on vacation and wow was it such a!disappointment. The upstairs view is lovely but the food is so sub par it’s not worth the view or the money. My steak came with two edible bites it was so fatty. The portion of the lobster roll my husband got was so small for the price. Overall disappointing dinner for $250.. have an app and leave to go somewhere else for a good meal.

Good, not great. Drinks very slow to arrive as one bartender for many tables. Tap water warm. Watermelon salad “different” as no real salad but pieces of watermelon with feta on top. Fish and chips very good. Lobster roll ok but not great. I would return but only if I had craving for fish and chips.

They didn't have many of the drinks listed on the menu. The food selection is much smaller than it used to be. The waitress asked if we wanted all of our courses served at the same time, which was odd.

Beautiful view and fantastic seafood. Hostess recommended we sit a a nicer table without us evenasking. Great experience overall

An hour before drinks another hour for dinner. Lobster Roll should be called Cole Slaw Roll. Had to search to find a very small piece of lobster. It was served on a toasted bun because it was so stale.

My wife and I where there on Saturday night with 2 friends.
We book a table up stairs and we where given a high top counter. I told the the waitress that my wife only has one leg and the prosthetic doesn't bend and we would need a table.
She refused to give us a table and made her stand to eat.
THIS IS discrimination on a disability I took pictures of all the tables that where not being used.
Your stuff should be ashamed of it self.

Don’t even bother. 8 empty tables apparently reserved & won’t seat. Ownership needs a lesson.
