Anker is always on point. Reserve in advance for a spot on the upstairs balcony to see sunset over the water. Paella is full of yummy seafood and meats and every single dish was just on point. Don’t miss the fish and chips, for which they use sea bass.
Victoria was great, sitting was quick. We had a RSVP but didn’t need one. A bit breezy due to being close to the water. Rosé was great, crab cakes were great and oysters. However the paella wasn’t enjoyable. The meat to rice ratio could be better. Due to our dish not coming out correct John(Manager) adjusted the bill.
We, four fussy eaters, dined on an off-season Friday night. We ordered cocktails (all excellent), a Seacuterie appetizer and two Paellas for two. While we had to ask for some of the accompaniments, the staff cheerfully hopped to it. The paellas were supposed to include a variety of seafood plus chicken and chorizo. They must not have had the chicken and chorizo. Instead they came chock full of large shrimp, crayfish and lobster. Who could complain? It also took a bit long for...
