Brix and Rye is a small speakeasy that was a great find. Although there was no room when visitors arrived, the server took their number and let them know when a table was ready. While waiting, they played shuffleboard upstairs and could order drinks to enjoy during the wait. They got seated within 20 minutes, and the server was very attentive. The menu included the red pie with Nonna's meatballs and the white pie with clams, both fantastic. The crusts of the pizzas were highly praised, with one guest saying they were among the best they've had. The atmosphere is dark, fitting for a speakeasy, making it a perfect spot for a date night or casual outing. It can get crowded and loud, but that didn't detract from the experience, and diners could still chat comfortably. Many customers recommend trying different pizzas on future visits.

Located in the basement of an art gallery to add to the speakeasy vibe, the restaurant offers a small menu with a handful of apps, white pies, and red pies. Visitors enjoyed an arugula salad with tomatoes, goat cheese, and grapefruit, along with a clams casino pie (white) and an nduja pizza (red). The larger pizzas are enough for two people, and the quality is top-notch. The clams casino was a favorite, with fresh clams and great flavor. Overall, Brix & Rye is a place worth going out of the way for, known for its fantastic pizza, dark atmosphere, and excellent service.
