Took a trip out to Greenport and planned on having Lunch at Bruce & Son. I knew they recommended reservations, but I took a chance as I wasn't sure what time I was going to be there. They were booked, but the hostess was so accommodating and said hang tight we can get you seats at the small counter area. I got the egg sandwich which was by far the best egg sandwich I ever had. The sugar bacon put this sandwich to another level! My dad requested just plain egg white and...
The staff was extremely kind. They found out it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they made an extra effort to give us a better seat and they also surprised us with a candle!they were very attentive and nice.
The food was also amazing.the menu is very simple but you can tell it is good quality.

Chocolate chip scone & pumpkin butter were fab as was the sourdough and berry jam!
Mixed berries were so fresh! Eggs were buttery but great.
