ZErdem is a great addition to Greenport, serving sublime dishes like grilled baby calamari and branzino ceviche. The menu is diverse, with beautifully presented plates. Every dish is cooked to perfection, including options like octopus carpaccio and roasted beetroot. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with outdoor tables suitable for families with young children.
The staff is attentive, and the food is delicious. The chocolate baklava is scrumptious, and the grilled branzino, grilled octopus, and tuna tartare are excellent. The front terrace provides a lovely setting for dinner, and the service is attentive but not overly so. The drinks are very good, and the hummus, tzatziki, and eggplant are all excellent starters. The pistachio-crusted halibut, swordfish kabobs, and watermelon salad are all delicious main courses.
The chef is Turkish, and the restaurant is up to European standards. The chicken kebab and cocktails (though a bit strong) are fantastic, and the atmosphere and service are perfect. ZErdem is highly recommended for a great dining experience in Greenport.
