“My family loves Chimichurri! The quality of the food is excellent and the value is terrific. This would be true if it wasn't kosher but we keep kosher and getting this quality and value with kosher is phenomenal! Our favorites are the steak, fried and grilled wings!Dietary restrictions: Kosher“
“I ordered some chickens and sides last Sunday. Food was good except the sweet potato fries that was overcooked. The original extra crispy chicken was 5/5. It was good with mild Sweet and spicy sauce on the side. The soy garlic wings was 3.5/5. It is because wings were too small. The chicken thighs was 4/5. I didn't like that chicken thighs were chopped in small pieces. Also, extra crispy breading would've been better than the original breading.French fries 5/5, mochi cheese donuts 5/5, Onion rings 5/5, Sweet potato fries 2/5.Overall, I would definitely reorder from the Pelicana, Plainview for sure. Hope they do better on Sweet potatoes fries next time.“
“I was craving boneless chicken and came across Don Chicken. Don Chicken is a chain with multiple locations throughout NY and NJ. If you love eating boneless wings packed with a lot of sauce, this is the place to go. Service was OK and the restaurant was a little small. Definitely seems more like a place to pick up your food and go.“
“This review is for take out on a Thursday at 11:30am. There was parking in the front. No diners were in the restaurant but there seem to be a brisk business on takeout. We ordered the Jjambong which was spicy (like the Shin Ramen). It was a huge portion that fit in a large ramen bowl. It was filled with vegetables and noodles. We ordered the beef. The Stir Fried Udon was on the sweet side. It also had a lot of different vegetables. Many places just use onion and carrots. This place gave 6 different vegetables. We ordered this with chicken which is not on the menu but they accommodated us. It's an extra $5. Overall I would go back because they have a lot of traditional foods I want to try. They charge a surcharge for credit cardsParking: Metered Street Parking“
“Not count as cheap eat though, but I really like the vibes here, it’s pretty like local Cantonese style. And the food taste pretty good though, I like the cheese pork cutlet and the Hong Kong style milk tea.The staffs are really nice here, tips are not mandatory but I did leave some tips to them.“
“I went to this place for lunch with some of my friends and it was amazing! The tonkotsu ramen was so good with the best toppings and we tried the gyoza, scallion pancakes, and chicken wings and they were all DELECTABLE! I highly recommend to anyone around the area and will be coming back whenever I come around the area “
“10/10- this is one experience you must try in your life. The chicken and complimentary side dishes goes hand in hand. Definitely a bit of a wait for the food, so I do recommend calling a head of time for pick up but it will be worth it. The staff members are so kind and there customer service is beyond ordinary. Very juicy chicken and seasoned perfectly!“
“Over all best wings on the island. Iv been multiple times and i bring a-lot of friends when i go. Last time i went they didn’t put my food in with the rest of the table so i waited a hour. The wait was definitely worth it and the owner actually offered me something off the menu for free and had me leaving happy full and another great experience.“
“Drove over from Deer Park to try this place out. Online it says they close at 11. Got here at 10:30 and doors are locked, very disappointing.Edit: ending up giving it a second try. Ordered BBQ wings and a chicken sandwich. The person that took my order who I believe was the owner was very nice and welcoming. The wings were great and no mistakes with my order ?“
“The food was great. However, the one servant child by the alias “Aiden” seemed to be somewhat affiliated with a branch of the mafia. His work was excellent, but I couldn’t help but feel like we could gaba my gool at any moment. Perhaps that is necessary at an Italian establishment. All in all an excellent experience.“
“I have been following this shop on Ig for a while and finally got around to trying it. Incan happily say I was not disappointed. I had the Jackpot with honey money mustard and my fiance had a chicken caesar wrap and we split drunken fries. All of it was delicious. Both of ours had plenty of chicken and taste. The fries were delicious and the vodka sauce was very good. Also tried the mac and cheese and it was good. Overall cant wait to go back and try more of the menu!“
“Mark is the best bartender ever! Kevin is a solid second. Security discriminated against us by only carding women and not the men but I guess I’ll let it slide since it’s a good place to hangout eat and drink. Plus it wasn’t the regular security who's usually there so oh well.“
“What an adorable little place for a cocktail! Cute and cozy vibes. Friendly bartender. Interesting and moderately priced drinks. We stopped in for some pre dinner cocktails and were really impressed with this place. Will definitely be back!“
“Had the Buffalo wings and a basket of fries on my first visit to Spanky's. Both were excellent. Ordered a shake to go, and it was good too.I could take or leave the sports bar ambiance and the beer jokes on every wall. On the other hand, service quality and a friendly staff made for an overall positive experience.“
“Crown Fried Chicken, my friends, is a force to be reckoned with in the world of fried chicken. Born from humble beginnings, this establishment has ascended to the ranks of the tri-state's fried chicken dynasties, ready to spar with the heavyweight contenders. And let me make one thing abundantly clear, it stands head and shoulders above the likes of Popeyes. But what really deserves a spotlight here is the classic combo they serve up: chicken and fries. Ladies and gentlemen, this dish, in all its greasy, crispy, and savory glory, should be a contender for the title of America's national dish. It's the kind of meal that transcends borders and backgrounds, uniting us all in a symphony of flavors.Hicksville, a town known for its vibrant halal food scene, has truly struck gold with Crown fried. This is not just a gem; it's the cream of the crop. The marriage of their perfectly seasoned, tender chicken and those golden, crispy fries is nothing short of culinary alchemy. It's a testament to the power of simple, well-executed comfort food that can bring people together, regardless of where they come from. So, my friends, when you find yourself in Hicksville, do yourself a favor. Skip the tourist traps and head straight to Crown Kitchen. Raise a toast to their unbeatable fried chicken and fries, a dish that's as American as apple pie and as international as the love for great food.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the Fries.“
“The food was absolutely great. I ordered the chicken strips. They were cooked to perfection, inside moist the outside crunchy and tasty. I met the owner who was very friendly. Great place to eat. It would be nice if there were more sides to choose from. ???“
“Me and a group of 3 friends went after a practice, when we were ordering the lady at the front immediately began helping us on what was good, what they didn’t have and had amazing customer service, the prices were amazing for the portion of food, and the fried chicken was the best I’ve had in my life 10/10 will be backKid-friendliness: The lady at the front greeted me and my group with only kindness (we are a group of teenagers.)Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs“
“Modoo Chicken and Noodle Bar is a culinary oasis in Queens, offering a tantalizing array of flavors that will satisfy any palate. Recently, I had the pleasure of sampling their stir-fried rice and spicy beef bulgogi, and I was blown away by the explosion of flavors in each dish. The stir-fried rice was expertly prepared, with perfectly cooked grains and a medley of fresh vegetables that added a delightful crunch to every bite. The spicy beef bulgogi was a true masterpiece, boasting tender slices of beef bathed in a rich, spicy sauce that left a lingering warmth on the palate. What's even better is that all the food at Modoo Chicken and Noodle Bar is halal-certified, making it a perfect dining destination for everyone. Whether you're a Queens local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Modoo Chicken and Noodle Bar for a culinary experience that is sure to impress.“
“Seafood allergy havers rejoice you have finally found somewhere you can eat fried food!! Their wings are delicious, the mozzarella triangles are a must have, and if you like pretzels the giant pretzel is amazing! Justin, our server and the bartender, was incredibly nice. We will be returning regularly.Dietary restrictions: They have no seafood at all!“
“Ordered through Uber eats. I like that the packaging has a steam vent. I got boneless with soy garlic on the side. It's a great value with how much you get, moist and the sauce isn't overpowering. I'll buy again.I bought the bogo offer dumplings. It's sad but most korean fried chicken spots are not making their own dumplings but are now using bibigo's freezer section dumplings. That said, they're good dumplings but I eat these exact types at home already.“
“The crispy burger from Coo Coo kitchen is the best chicken drumstick I have ever eaten. The tender and juicy fresh chicken leg meat after biting into it simply fulfilled all my fantasies about chicken legs. With this restaurant, I will never eat McDonald's, KFC or chi-a-flet again.“
“I came in today to get some lunch ( Food is always delicious ) while in the area however I must say shout out to the man in the blue shirt I think ( the manager ) he went out in the rain and helped an elderly women with her car ! You rock ! It’s not too many people willing to help individuals in our area your act of kindness was amazing !“
“Quickly is a place I often go to at night with my friends because they open until 23:00 every day!I love their salted crispy chicken the most, the Korean fried chicken tastes really special!Chocolate slush is my favorite!?️You can park on the roadside, parking is very convenient“
“The place is full on weekends and they serve you at the entrance in an important way, they take you to your table depending on how many people there are, the food is good because there is a variety, it has sushi and there is also a place that cooks whatever you ask for, I don't know Yes, it has an additional cost but the place is excellent. The only bad thing and what bothers me is that when you already serve dessert they are quick to put the bill on you. That makes you uncomfortable because you are enjoying your dessert and you feel like hurry up and get up because I'm done that is uncomfortable parking there is enough but if you go on a holiday that is full or it is a weekend you must be patient because the parking lot is full“
“OMG, I've eaten at many halal places before, but this one def stands above the rest. Their flavors are unique, the store is always clean, they are polite when they are serving you, and the prices are very reasonable. I've recommended them to many people. And you won't regret your experience.“
“I always had TCB delivered to me in NJ when my brother came to visit. 1st time sitting in getting fresh, hot, juicy chicken come of the racks was awesome. Parking at this store was difficult. The lot in back was packed with no spots. I also contacted TCB about opening location in NJ, but TCB didn't reply back to me.“
“My husband and I were in Long Island for a birthday and decided to stop by here to have wings because I was cravings wings. He said these were great and he'd been coming here for some time. I didn't have high expectations based on their ratings but I gave them a shot . I had the mild buffalo wings and they were delicious . Nothing out of the ordinary but they hit the spot ! I wish I had pictures to share but they flew off the plate quicker than I could take my phone out. I think this is a solid wing spot & the service was great too.“
“It's bigger, has more menus, and the prices are cheaper. It's a chicken restaurant, but the chicken is delicious and all the other menu items are also delicious. I recommend the tuna kimchi stew. The staff are so friendly and I go there every day.“
“Have been visiting this place since 2017 (it was “Chick-In” then). The food is so good! Not everyone likes peri peri spices, so research the spices before trying out. We always order ahead, as they make the food fresh and it takes time to cook the chicken to desired level. We usually order whole chick in style chicken. Their corn on the cob and fries really complement the chickens. The same lady has been serving us since 2017 and I truly believe she is the SECRET TO THIS PLACE’S SUCCESS. She is polite, efficient and always wears a smile. They are usually open till late for dine in too and serves halal food.Dietary restrictions: Halal FoodWheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp.“
“Very nice restaurant! Staffs are nice and restaurant is very clean! Their service is amazing and I didn’t have to wait for my food for too long, I would say within 5-7 minutes. And their chicken nuggets are delicious and now has became one of my faves! Gonna come back again! ?“
“I've frequented Rincón Dominicano for lunch on several occasions, indulging in a variety of delicious Dominican dishes. On my latest visit, the chicharrón stole the show with its perfect crispiness and well-balanced seasoning. Highly recommended for a satisfying dominican food experience!“
“I stopped at Hickory's for the first time in quite a while. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and I was shocked at how good it was. I the past I had stopped there and remembered the food being very good. I was not disappointed - in fact I was very pleasantly surprised. The sandwich was fantastic. I strongly recommend that you visit for a great experience.“
“Great Korean-style fried chickens and fries. There are other sides, beers, and very friendly staff/servers with a bar!Recommended for those who like Korean style chickens with beers.Parking: Huge parking lot in the back for the entire mall.“
“Excellent as usual. First off the food never ever disappoints. Pizza- No matter what toppings are ordered is always delicious and fresh. Salad- Always fresh and delicious. Wings-Excellent. The beer is always ice cold and served perfectly in a chilled glass. The cocktails are also made and served with perfection. Which leads me to the service. Always, Always on point! Taylor, Jenny, Jeremy, and Colleen are some of the most attentive and friendly wait and bar staff i have encountered and that goes to prove what a tight ship the manager Catherine runs. Great place. great food. Great people.“
“Great Sushi and Food. Quick service. My gotoo is definitely the poke bowl because you can’t go wrong with that. They have a great playlist playing. Dining in can be cramped and hard to get a table but it’s nice. Food is good for both take out and dine in. Reasonable prices. Overall great food and great place which I highly recommend.“
“Always enjoy their specials! Pizza has been consistently good and prepared perfect! Salad is always good and fresh, love that the house salad has celery, and eggs too!!This location is my favorite! Servers are nice and fast and listen to the customer! Jeff isa great waiter very nice guy too“
“If there is one thing that is plentiful in Glen Cove, it's pizza restaurants. Delicious Pizza is definitely up there with some of the best slices in town. Its primarily a small walk in/take out/delivery catering to "The Landing" area of Glen Cove and they have a great staff who treat you with a smile. I believe you can sit outside when the weather is nice and there are a few tables for eating inside there. But because they make one of the top slices in town this is a "pizza slice only" review and that's why I am giving them 5 stars. If you live anywhere near the Landing and you are looking for a great slice and a cold drink, definitely stop by Delicious Pizza and you will be very happy. This style of Pizza parlor definitely give me the feeling of the good old Pizza joint of yesteryear and I am so happy to have them within walking distance from my house. Thanks, Delicious Pizza! PS: They also have yummy Tiramisu and Chocolate cake for a great dessert. I'm not totally sure on this but one addition that would be amazing would be GELATO. (If they already offer it I apologize. They definitely have Italian ice. Gelato would be a great edition.)“
“Came here with my family and all the food was so good and the ambiance is really really cute and great for instagram pics. The workers are also super hard working and so friendly. Not to mention the drinks there are made so well and they have so many different flavors. Gotta check this place out“
“The vibe is chill, the drinks are strong, the number of pool tables are many and the atmosphere is awesome. We visited this place on a Monday night after work for drinks and a few rounds of pool. Cue is clean, well designed and a fun place to spend a few hours of down time.I imagine pool halls to be dark and dirty… I guess movies have had major influence on my perception of what a pool hall should look like but this place is nothing like that. It’s clean, organized and well designed. Actually this place is extremely clean! There’s nothing more important than finding great places to hang out at in the city with friends and family. We’ll definitely be back and soon!!“
“Four Bros Halal has really great food and service. The employees greeted us and we felt very welcome. I got the combo lamb and chicken over rice and it was really good. The best I’ve had in awhile. The rice was fragrant and delicious. The food was fresh and the white sauce was great. I also got hot fries and it was straight out of the fryer, very fresh ??. I will definitely be going back!“
“I've done take out many time, usually the boil bags and fried rice here and always good. However, came twice on a Saturday to dine in with family and couldn't hear ourselves over the music. We left both times because it was impossible to hear the person next to you or even speak your order to the waitress, my son was really uncomfortable and crying. Music was on point don't get me wrong but didn't need to be blasting like it was a club, we should be able to have family meals there and be able to hear eachother speak. Hopefully soon it's rectified so we can finally dine in.“
“I go here almost weekly, and I usually get the large mixed platter (sometimes with falafel). Very great price, very great portions, and very delicious food. Sometimes they forget to pack extra sauce on delivery orders via Door Dash, but that doesn't take away from how good the food tastes.“
“The food was really good. Got the mixed chicken/beef platters $13 (very good value). The fries are fresh potato with the skins, perfectly cooked, not too greasy. The meat was perfectly spiced and the rice was excellent. I would definitely come back. Limited seating, most people get take out.“
“Food - delicious and served hot, which is a big plus for me; ordered classic wings with Thai Chilli sauce, an order of boneless wings with mango habanero sauce and fries (all less than $25)Service - good; the young men held it downAtmosphere - small space, but nice and cleanParking: Small lot behind the building for all businesses...often packed, but wait 5mins or so and sometimes moving; drive slowly and carefully; people walk out into traffic or are sitting on the sides at times... interesting crowd.“
“Day of visit 1/15/2024 In the words of my very wise 7yr old "best day ever!" We really had such a great experience that day. And I certainly have the employees at Kraveit to thank for it. We got there just as they had opened, and only two pizzas were out. Seriously, we were there for a late breakfast haha. We were hungry and it was clear lol. My daughter wanted the Mac and cheese slice and ofcourse that wasn't out. When I asked how long it would take for them to make the pizzas, also, if they were going to make a Mac and cheese pie soon? Paul (the awesome Pizza maker) said which ones do you want? I'll make em now. WHAT!!! He knew we'd get a slice or two, but offered to make whichever ones we wanted next. We ordered the Mac-tastic, sweet devil, and, fuego chicken. My daughter described the Mac and cheese slice perfectly. She said "this is blowing my mind with goodness lol". It's really a gem of a slice. The chicken fuego was my personal favorite. Perfectly balanced and delicious. The sweet devil wasn't my favorite, but I see the appeal. Their garlic knots were perfect. And dont forget the krave-it soda! It's addictingly delicious. I also reccomend the fried oreoz for dessert. Now while we were waiting for the pizzas to be done, we got our own pizza making class. My daughter was elated, and the bursts of laughter and happiness wouldn't stop. Diana showed her how she put the sauces on, and answered all her questions. Paul explained the toppings on the slices, twirled the dough for her, and showed her how he sliced them. She must have said "best day ever" over 20 times. She was so happy she forgot the was hungry lol. I know how busy this place can be, and how they crank out the pizzas, so to take the time to answer a curious child's questions really speaks of Paul and Diana's character. I've been coming to Krave-it since my college days (when it opened). And I'm happy to say, that they've officially sealed themselves in the hearts of a 2nd generation. My kids will be here and in the words of my 7yr old "I will bring my kids here one day". Thank you Paul, Diana, and Krave-it for serving great food, and creating such an inclusive environment for families.“
“The best wings. Crispy, hot, and meaty. About 15 choices of sauce, I like about a dozen. The crispiest creamiest French fries. Always friendly service from behind counter. The atmosphere is just right for a place that is basically a take out have.I get there as often as I can.“
“Okay so on Sunday 9/17/2023 I came ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and a 2 piece with macaroni salad. I get home which is 20 minutes away and all I have is a 2 piece nothing else and the sandwich my son said was what was served to him in school. I gave a 5 star because I’ve been coming here for years. But going forward I will check my orders before leaving and not get there chicken sandwich again.Parking: I prefer the drive through“
“I’m obsessed with the concept of this place! Diners are great and all, but sometimes they just get too overwhelming. I loved how at Diner Boys I could sit at a high top table, and enjoy what I think is way better than a regular diner meal. I had the Brooklyn’s Finest sandwich and it was so tasty. Also, the glass bottle Coke I had really added to the retro look and feel of my experience. The owner Nick convinced me to try some churros for dessert, and I was not disappointed. Will definitely be a regular customer!“
“My wife has brought Mad for Chicken home from Bayside a few times. I have never been to the restaurant so this review is based off the food only. Even being reheated due to the long drive, it’s really good. The fries are crispy and delicious. The fried dumplings have a lot of flavor. The chicken wings are very crispy on the outside, but juicy on the inside. Always a treat when I know my wife is bringing Mad for Chicken home.“
“Having a personal classic chicken sandwich tasting challenge with my 15 and 17 y.o. sons. Every weekend (wife is not happy about it), We go to a selected chain, order the classic chicken sandwich with fries. So far we've tried Chick-fil-A, Popeye's, McDonald's, and KFC. We both rank Popeye's and KFC tied for first , Chick-fil-A #2 , and McDonald's #3.Next weekend is Burger King.“
