“Having a personal classic chicken sandwich tasting challenge with my 15 and 17 y.o. sons. Every weekend (wife is not happy about it), We go to a selected chain, order the classic chicken sandwich with fries.So far we've tried Chick-fil-A, Popeye's, McDonald's, and KFC. We both rank Popeye's and KFC tied for first , Chick-fil-A #2 , and McDonald's #3.Next weekend is Burger King.“

“Ordered takeout from Don Chicken on Northern Blvd and went for the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken and it did not disappoint. The pieces were pretty big, juicy inside, and had that trademark Korean fried chicken crunch: thin, shatter-crispy, never greasy. The soy garlic glaze was spot on savory, garlicky, with just enough kick to keep me reaching for another bite.

I also tried the Sweet & Spicy flavor not bad at all, just leaned sweeter than what I usually like.

What I really appreciate is how Korean fried chicken is different from the fried chicken most of us grew up with. Instead of a thick, heavy batter, it’s double-fried a method that actually came about in Korea in the 1960s and 70s when fried chicken started getting popular alongside beer (“chimaek,” short for chicken + maekju/beer, is now a whole culture). That double fry gives you the crunch without the grease, and the sauces like this soy garlic add layered flavor instead of just salt and breading.

For takeout, it traveled well too the chicken stayed crisp even by the time I got home, which tells you they’re doing it right. Generous portions, bold flavor, and that authentic K-fried crispness make the spicy soy garlic the clear winner for me.“

“Honestly, this place is so slept on... Krave It has the best pizza in Bayside— by a LANDSLIDE. I love that they use unbromated flour and I appreciate that every piece (even the specialty slices with many heavy toppings) has great structure, no flop. Thin & crispy crust, great ratio of sauce and cheese. I also love how clean the restaurant is. They have some incredible specialty slices that I never knew I needed in my life until I tried them! Especially the “Desi Boy” slice and the “white truffle chicken cutlet” slice. I also have to mention their vodka slice with sesame crust 🤤 Everything in this place is high quality, even their regular slices. Their sandwiches are pretty incredible too, and you can tell that the bread is fresh made in house— you don’t feel bloated or overly stuffed after eating them! The owner is super friendly and even gave us a couple extra slices to try to complete our “pie” when we had already ordered a small variety of slices. The staff are all very friendly and it feels very comfortable and less stuffy than some of the other pizzerias in the area. Happy to give this place my business. Give them a try, you will be back for more!“

“Let me tell you guys how amazing Donna is! i ordered food for my boyfriend and it was stolen by an uber driver, he picked up my food from this location but never confirmed picking it up on the uber app, therefore the order was still saying that it had to be picked up in the system. I called Bww and spoke to Donna and she explained that uber drivers kept coming in to pick up my food that didn't exist. Her advice was to let uber know what happened so that they can cancel the order in the system, and I could re-order it for someone to pick it up. I knew that would take some time & they were about to close in 30mins. Being that my order was still in the system , the 4th uber driver was on his way to pick up my food . I asked her if I could just put the order in with her over the phone instead of going through Uber and she was more than happy to take my order. She took my order and apologized for the wait even though it wasn't her fault , she also said she'll throw in some extra food for the inconvenience. Donna if you're reading this, thank you so much and I truly appreciate people like you, your level of customer service was excellent. You were patient and kind and i'm so glad that I got to speak with you. She definitely kept her word and added extra food to enjoy along with a cute note, i honestly couldn't be more satisfied. “Don’t know about bites and food, but the facility is clean and modern. Rentals for billiards is easy and affordable. The space is large as well so there’s no crowds impeding in your space for billiards.

“El Rincón Dominicano is a restaurant in Hempstead known for its delicious Dominican and Spanish food. We ordered the chicharrón which was moist and crisp. Just the way it should be cooked. I had the grilled stead. It was very flavorful and tender. My niece had the skirt steak which was out of this world. The steak melted in your mouth. My sister-ion-law had the pernil which is her favorite. The food is cooked to perfection, and we left with plenty for another meal. The staff is helpful, friendly, and attentive, providing great customer service. Parking is a bit of an issue, but we were lucky in getting a spot in the lot. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you are offered. El Rincón Dominicano is well-loved by my family. While we live in NJ, we will visit again.“

“One of the few meals my family can all agree on. I could eat this every day. The regular philly with cheese wiz is amazing. After trying Pat and Gino’s in Philadelphia, and then others, I was convinced that I did not like cheese wiz on my Philly. I was wrong, hands down this is the best. Cost unfortunately remains the only barrier; over $70 to feed a family of four for lunch is a bit much. $50-60 is my top price point for a fun meal from out.“

He wanted to take my card as I placed my order n when I said how much is it he started adding in his head n when I said go pack n ring the order first he slammed the window. Then instead of telling me they had no wings or verifying my order he just packed it n showed me what he was gonna give me. Never spoke to me to say what he was doing. “From out of town, popped in after spending a day at jones beach and read the reviews online. Just wanted a place with good food with a casual vibe (I like pub bars for context). Phenomenal service, great wings, love the zucchini fries & price points were on point! Definitely recommend, I wish I lived nearby so I could visit often. But it was really nice seeing and chatting with locals at the bar who visit often. Didn’t drink alcohol but they look like they do heavy pours ;)“
