“We stopped in Elsasser’s Beim 111 tonight on our way to the Fort Salem theater. The restaurant was awesome. Food and service were terrific! We loved the atmosphere. The owner Chris was a blast! We even got to hear him play a trumpet solo. I would highly recommend this establishment! I will definitely be going again!”

“After driving past Twins dozens of times, I finally stopped. It turned out to be a good decision because the meal was delicious. Many restaurants serve the meal with not too many ingredients, but lots of sauce. Twins was the opposite. My meat had a very generous amount of meat in it.”

“I had the best friggin meal I’ve had in decades at Wally‘s last night. It was Chicken Oscar. It was a special. Which bums me out because it means it’s not something on their regular menu. It was really delicious. Top shelf. The restaurant was clean. The service was fantastic and like I said, the food was out of this world.”

“The only “complaint” I would have is our drinks weren’t brought over to us after we ordered them and the girl behind the counter said she would bring them right over and they still weren’t after we got our food, I had to go up and ask for them. Other than that, the food was surprisingly really good for a pizza place! The calzones are probably the best around in my opinion! A little pricy. Paid almost $60 for a calzone, spaghetti and meatballs, a salad and one soda but I guess you get what you pay for :)”

“I'm a first-time visitor introduced to Kickstart Coffee this week by a village resident - I knew immediately that the owners knew how customers want to feel. The gent at the counter was friendly and patient. He crafted my coffee with the pride and talent of a traditional barista. Who needs big city branding and pricing when you can get top notch coffee and service at a place that takes such pride in its work. I wish them great success - they deserve it.”

“As a former marine our crew stopped in on a wet Saturday during Americade , no clue about anything but they had slushies and beer. OMG!! The owners Chris and Heather were so personable and friendly. There knowledge of what they talked about was second to none . They made our group of 11 feel right home. The drinks and the drink names totally on point ! Are only disappointing point is we didn’t know about this place years ago ! It was the best part of our trip this year and can’t wait till our next visit . I was really craving ice cream today so I went over to Franklin Square and grabbed this "chocolate chunk" ice cream and it's literally vanilla with chocolate flakes (if you can even call it that). I really don't like vanilla but if there was actually chocolate "chunks" it probably wouldn't have been that bad but alas... Waste of time and money. Why TF doesn't it said vanilla anywhere and who thought calling flakes chunks? #grrr.”

“Stopped in for lunch on a busy Thursday. Chicken salad and watermelon gazpacho were so tasty! You can tell these dishes were carefully crafted with love and fresh ingredients. Lavender lemonade was refreshing as well. Sad we didn’t come sooner, will definitely be back 😁”

I thought I could only get quality penne alla vodka when we visit family in Long Island but Stumpys impressed me so much, it’s probably the best I’ve ever had!!
