“We have gone a couple of times here. Everyone is so nice here. This place is hidden but once you find it you will keeping coming back. We were here on Saturday for the Valentines Food & Flight Pairing. What amazing event this was the food from Rollin in Gravy. The four course pairing was a wonderful way to spend a very sunny Saturday. They knock it out of the park the beer and food was so amazing. They ended the night with Whiskey River Band. The staff and owners really go out of their way to answer all your questions about their beer and up coming events. If I could give them 100 stars I would. Stop by and see this wonderful place.”

“Amazing subs! Our favorite place to get them. Also their poutine...don't get me started. I also got a Cobb salad a couple evenings ago to have for lunch the next day, and that was so tasty too! I love having a take out place with such fresh and scrumptious food so close to home!”

“The Auction Barn is a wonderful place to satisfy that craving for some comfort food! Everything had a great flavor, lots of great variety and the customer service is incredible. Friendly wait staff, good coffee, and the owners are right there working alongside the staff cleaning, taking orders, and filling coffee. Restaurant is bright and clean and welcoming. Love the updated look!Kid-friendliness: They offer booster and or highchairs, kid friendly food options, and kind and patient staff.”

“Bought some milk and got a scoop of ice cream. They have various dairy products like milk, butter, cheese, etc. nice to come here and buy from a family and not a big corporation. “We had so much fun stopping by Slickfin on our drive through the area. They had a flavoured seltzer selection that was pretty unique and then a caramel apple sour with a crushed Cinammon Toast Crunch rim?! The kid inside of me of legal drinking age had a blast.We also spent some time in the back area with the fire pits with the coolest group of vets that meet up at Slickfin for beers every week. They welcomed us to pull up some chairs and share our travel stories. Their friendliness and enthusiasm for the brewery made our night.Thanks Slickfin! We hope to make it back on our next road trip.”

“We love Sally’s. It’s as country as you’re going to get in this area. It reminds me of home in very rural Pa. The ladies are super friendly and great waitresses. Great prices, fast service & always with a smile!”

“Go to the store. They've got a much larger selection of items and the service is far friendlier than if you buy at the Glens Falls Farmers Market. Plus, it's a beautiful drive. Their seasonably available eggnog is amazing, and I love their chocolate milk, too (great in coffee!). Other items I've bought there (produced not by them, but still locally) have been maple candy, yogurt, and cheese curds. All recommended. As well, they sell local meat, maple syrup, and cheese. Don't forget to save your empty glass bottles to return for the deposit.”

“Fantastic menu so many options, something for everyone even the fussiest of your group will be impressed. Just an example they offered four choices of soup. Very friendly wait staff that all work together helping each other out, this is very nice to see. I wanted the fried fish and french fries but they were out of fish so I just made a quick change decision and ordered the shrimp and clam strips. It was amazing I was so surprised, I have not had fried clam strips in years that I did not regret ordering, these were the best. The shrimp were great as well. My partner is the fussy one he ordered some kind of grilled or pressed sandwich however he wanted none of this but could you add that and the dressing on the side and of course extra crispy french fries. The waitress said with a smile of course. He was completely impressed with his meal as well. So folks give this place a try it is not an average greasy spoon in fact I don't think you would even find a greasy spoon in the kitchen, the place was absolutely spotless. So Ginny Raes is now a destination for us and no longer and okay let's pull it and give it a try.”

“Never knew this place existed until a few months ago when a client brought it to my office and treated me to lunch. It’s without question excellent pizza, perfect NY style. Only disappointment I have is every time I think to order from here and take the 20 minute drive to pickup I remember they are closed on Sundays. Being a weekend day it’d be nice to see them open as those are the days I typically will do a takeout meal especially during football season. I can’t speak much on the customer service as I haven’t had a chance to eat here after that first time but overall it’s still a 5/5 from me based on the food alone.”

“Bartender Monica is amazing, got to meet the owners last time we were there, they were so friendly. Some food is lacking, but the fried Oreos & potato Skins are the best & they serve food till 2am so that's great.”

“Great place. My wife and I are huge sushi lovers. All you can eat price includes the whole menu which is amazing. The sushi rolls are HUGE and taste fresh. The service was impeccable. We were 2 of only a few other people there but I can’t imagine the service not being just as good with a packed house. Can’t wait to go back. 10/10”

“Super friendly and fast service. They don't make their own ice cream but rather they use Perry's ice cream. I had a regular sized Reese's peanut butter cup sundae with blue raspberry ice cream which was huge for the portion. The ice cream was so delicious. The kids didn't want to eat their vanilla ice cream monsters because the eyes were cute, but then the temptation won that battle. This place has a couple spots to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Overall it was a good time at Twin Scoops.”

“We weren't going to come because it's attached to a church but we tried it anyway. A little bit of religious stuff around but not pushy. The server was excellent and there was a young lady in the kitchen cooking. We ordered omelets with home fries, I read the reviews and they were recommended. I would NEVER order them again, the cook was a heavy handed with the cayenne pepper. They were so spicy I could not taste my other food. I really tried to eat them but could not. The food took a long long time to come out. The omelet was amazing but they forgot our toast. The condiment basket on our table was empty anyway, no jelly, no salt.”

“Drive thru ice cream might be my favorite thing. It's perfect when I need to kill time while my toddler who only naps in the car, is napping. Their ice cream is so cream and appropriately sized. I cannot stand when shops make their portions insanely huge. Drives me bonkers. Rookies does it right and I love that!”

“Went today, 1/29/23, with elderly parents. The food is good, service is excellent BUT until the parking lot is taken care of I would not go unless you have spikes on your shoes. The ice is treacherous especially for the older population and anyone with mobility issues. What a shame, snowplow and salt/sand is all it would take.”

“The Rock is a family owned business that shows that they care about their customers. Clean fun atmosphere with many games and activities. They offer different events throughout the year like pig roasts, bands and more. Dave and Robin the owners are community oriented people who have had benefits and run can drives from their redemption center. If you are ever in the Hudson Falls area stop and have a drink and say Hi they will welcome you like family. I highly recommend the trip.”
