Menu says baked potato with broiled fish. Waitress said NO, they are are out of baked potatoes tonight. Nice big piece of fish but drenched in butter and could barely detect a hint of cajun. Lemon pepper broiled fish same story. New England chowder not bad. Service alright. Great view over lake.
The (pork chops) were not chops, but pork shoulder. Disappointing with a lot of gristle and fat. The serving was not as described on the menu. No stars for this meal.

Hoak's is a well-known restaurant with a quiet neighborhood pub atmosphere and woodworking details. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and attentive. You can also enjoy dining and drink outside on the patio literally a couple of feet from Lake Erie. It is a great place for a big meal or a snack.
