Tons of fun. Not quite the original Boardy Barn... but still a ton of fun. They've tried to recreate the atmosphere.... some of the staff came back. It's got potential. But need to run beer specials.Sound system needs work. Very muffled.Need better food options inside besides hot dogs.They need to stop the vaping & smoking under the tent.All in all a great time on a Sunday afternoon!

Back in 1984, I met my future wife who we shared three daughters at Boardy Barn happy hour.... Although we divorced in 2004, my three daughters know "how I met their mother "... the two older ones got to experience happy hour here, but, my youngest didn't due to covid... and for that, I am very sad!!! There were no better way to spend Sundays at Boardy Barn Happy Hour. Partying, drinking with friends, and listening to the best music America offered!!! DJ Jimmy Soul always ended it with American Pie... what a time to be young in America!!! I cherish those days, friends, and meeting the mother of my children. I will miss this iconic landmark dearly!!

Friends ID expired. She's 30. Had a party of 15 and they turned us away. They had 30 in line with our 15. They opened late to "get more of a crowd." $30 cover and $5 beer no thank you!

In light of the news that the barn is up for sale, I just wanted to say thank you for all the amazing memories of drinking beers and eating $1 hot dogs with my friends as we covered ourselves in the iconic smiley face stickers!! Those were some of my best Long Island Summer memories! This place will always hold a special place in my heart because my boyfriend and I met here Memorial Day Weekend 2019!! Two years in and we still can't believe what an incredible "how we met" story we have, although we both don't remember much from that day Definitely going to to miss this place and very sad that we never got the opportunity to go back together and relive that day!!! Thanks for all the fun times!
I'm lucky enough to be a fill-in DJ here. There is nowhere more fun than this place! It's an iconic landmark and has seen generations of guests celebrate the longest running happy hour on Long Island!! If you like beer, go here! :)

The people that complain in their reviews about Boardy Barn should all be a part of the No Fun League. If you're looking for a rowdy Sunday this is the place. They should let you throw beers though. $5 for their dinky beers is kind of excessive. If you want to experience a frat party without being in a frat then go here.
