We used to love going to Meschutt on a Friday night, grab a bite, enjoy the music and car show. Take the family for a day, grab lunch or a lobster on the beach. Not anymore! The food is not good anymore, menu changes are understandable as the kitchen does not seem to be able to keep up with the orders as it is now, even before it gets crowded. The quality of the food is sub par. Even the french fries came out pale and under cooked. The drinks (unless it is a beer or wine) are a joke...might as well just drink some water.

Live band on Saturday afternoon. People are dancing if they want to. Others can just sit and either watch the band or enjoy a view of the bay and beach which is right off of the hut. Great vibe. Friendly bartenders. Good food.

But..the food and the drinks are ludicrously overpriced. The drinks are expensive, small and under poured. The food borders on inedible. Note: parking is expensive during the day but it's free after 4PM.
