Truly overlooked Japanese place in the Westchester County-Greenwich-Stamford area. Having been to many Japanese restaurants, I consider myself to be relatively knowledgeable about the details of Japanese food. That being said, I was amazed at the quality of the fish at Murayama. Came here for the first time and loved it! Started off with the Rock Shrimp appetizer. It was prepared perfectly, not too saucy and lovely flavorful shrimp! We ate sushi next and had simple rolls. They were fantastic! Very fresh and easy on the rice. We will for sure come back!

I absolutely love this sushi restaurant! Every time I order takeout, it's a delightful experience. My favorites are the takoyaki and shrimp tempura – they're always perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. The sashimi here is hands down the best I've ever had.
