They are super friendly with kids and in general. The food is solidly above average. It's kind of a favorite spot for birthdays, but we go around once a week for a regular meal. The menu is big and we usually get sushi, but most items have been safe when we tried other things. It's not a fancy place, but it's really good overall.

Easily some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The fish was unbelievably fresh and we ended up ordering extra rolls because we couldn’t get over how high quality the fish was. The wait staff were very warm and the food came out so quickly, even when the restaurant was busy. Will most definitely be a regular here.

My friends and I came to Sakura Garden and had a really great experience. The vibe was really nice and relaxed, perfect for just hanging out and catching up. Everyone working there was super kind and welcoming, which made it even better. The food was amazing, everything tasted really fresh and full of flavor, especially the sushi🍣. You can tell they actually care about what they’re making and that they are using high-quality ingredients. Overall, it was such an enjoyable meal with great food, great people. We 100% definitely recommend and would come back again!! 😋❤️🍱
I left feeling disappointed with how I was treated. The staff seemed rude and not very respectful, which made me uncomfortable. I hope they can improve their customer service

I am a regular customer, the food has always been good but the service and the attitude of the people here are horrible. The hostess was annoyed that my 2.5 year old was crying. She asked is to move to the corner or leave. We just left because that was so rude. A 2.5 year old crying shouldn’t be that big of a deal. They claim to be a family place but are rude to their regular customers. I will never return to this place based off their nasty attitude to a baby crying. Wild ginger in Bronxville is so much better.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Made reservations, was ignored for 15 minutes before someone had the courtesy to come over (the restaurant was half empty). Service was good but the food was completely disappointing. All the ingredients including the fish didn't feel fresh and the food was simply underwhelming even for the suburbs. There are so many other better Japanese restaurants in the area.
