I love encebollado! So when I’m craving this is my place to go. Even tho the encebollado comes with so little fish, and the yuca (cassava) is not well cooked. Wish it taste like the coast of Ecuador. But the rest of the food is really good! Specially the fried pork, the hornado. Caldo de bolas. Im still looking for a place to get a real good encebollado

I been going here for years with my wife. Great food at affordable prices. Last night though pushed me away. It's vday. I know it's busy. But two hrs to get our food was a joke. Waitress said it's coming over and over for an hr but never followed up until we spoke up. Finally we got other waitresses involved. Our original one comes and explain the cook is putting our order in the bottom. Kept skipping it. He kept sending to go orders out. Then others got their food first after they not been waiting long for the food. It was terrible. A manager should of taken charge. On a Tuesday night on vday it was very busy. People wanted to sit but when you have us waiting two hrs you wasting a table. Got to Keep the customers flowing in and out. The food is again awesome. Only reason why I would go back all the way from Scarsdale.

5 star food!...5 star service!...Family friendly!...The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars overall is because I liked the old decor better. The old decor was more comfy feeling and not so intensly lit up.The new post renovation decor is fresh looking, but the intense bright lights make it feel a little like a cafeteria. Also the plug in air fresheners are a little overpowering and Lemon scent is great, but it just reminds you of being in the restroom.Other than that I will definitely be going back.
