We had an hour and a half bus ridee coming to this tiny restaurant all the way to Hempstead from Flushing. I have tried their food from a Haitian friend and I said I have to buy it myself to see the real restaurant. First is you have to call them first because it takes them 30 minutes to 1 hour to prepare your food. Secondly, there are no chairs and tables inside the restaurant. The food is phenomenal. I received great customer service. I would absolutely recommend Taste the Island Bakery and Restaurant for take-out. Where they are located is not in the best location. However the service i received was impeccable.
