Ridiculous that I ever went to famous Dave's. This is some of the best bbq I've ever had.
Brisket and ribs were fall apart tender.
Mac and cheese, candied yams and cornbread were excellent.
The service matched the food.

Ordered the bbq ribs, oxtail, 1/4 bbq chicken w/ Mac n cheese, rice and beens, candied yams and sweet potato fries. Food was absolutely delicious and I totally dig the southern bbq vibe.
The bbq sauce was gluten free. 😀

We’re from Boston. We were visiting for a couple of days and I’ve had some good soul food in Boston, but let me tell you something village barbecue is probably the best I’ve ever had in my life! The collard greens the Black Eyed Peas, the tender briskets I don’t know how you make that fried chicken, but it is incredible! Can’t wait to come back next year!
