Max's Appetizing & Kosher Delicatessen

First, this is about food from the catering service now located inside Temple Tikvah in New Hyde Park. We ordered the Thanksgiving meal "for 3-5 people." We were six, and there was enough for six more people! The turkey was 15 pounds, and even though we had to pick it up the day before (because I ordered late) and re-heat it the next day, it was moist and delicious. Thank you so much for your gourmet Thanksgiving feast last Thursday 11/26/2020. We enjoyed everything especially the turkey, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, coleslaw, grilled veggies, butternut squash soup, and great dinner rolls. Leftovers were equally delicious the next day.

Are you a New Yorker? Born and raised? Then you remember deli and old school Ashkenaz Jewish Soul Food. You know, the food every Jewish neighborhood used to have but is now nearly extinct.Very few of these places remain.
