My family and I went to Woodro Deli for Mother's Day. Allan was our server and he made it a wonderful experience. He was professional, patient and kind. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. Compliments to the cef, and also to Allan. Thanks for making it a very special lunch for us.
The meat is good, but you can’t compare to Lido deli they give you such a small sandwich. It’s ridiculous., not going back
Haven't had cream of chicken soup stop that Woodrow sure enough it was special soup of the day then I had to call the owner and let him know I think you should put it back on the menu or at least once a week the food is always it's good and the staff very friendly and helpful

Sadly, there are very few kosher deli’s left in Long Island. I’ve been a frequent take out customer of Woodrow’s over the years. The food is not bad at all but the owner is very nasty. I’ve tried to overlook that as the other workers are friendly. However, he actually started a verbal fight with me. That’s no way for any owner or normal person to act. For that reason, I can no longer patronize this establishment.

The sandwiches were delicious. The pastrami was lean as requested but not at all dry and so tender. Same for the brisket. Potato pancakes were moist inside and crispy brown outside. The brown Gravy a perfect consistency and so flavorful. The waitress and everyone behind the counter were friendly. I must say though, it was Def a bit on the warm side. I guess the ac couldn't keep up with the high humidity today. Overall a great lunch! I'd say Def try it
