I have had many items from this place and they have all been amazing. The spinach roll, chicken parm roll, pizza, etc. Their vodka sauce is fantastic and I was hooked on it for a while. Then I tried their bolognese sauce. I have eaten spaghetti bolognese in Italy, London, and probably 20 different places in New York and NJ. The bolognese at Alex’s is top 2 or 3 and I can get it without having to go to Italy. Huge portion and so delicious. Super friendly staff as well.
Moved to the island from queens a few years ago, and this place is as good as the good places in the boroughs. It is a huge difference for those that know- know. Price is great, and it’s top quality with nice people. Don’t go to the white bread Italian pizzerias I don’t care know owns them they taste like bread. This is it
